Skill wise he is under-rated. If a fighter can get it done with a varity of punchs he choses from his arsendal then i call that skills. Its now easy to learn to throw a varity of punchs in a fight, espcially in a copetitive fight.

I think Margarito is either better then the welterweights of today or the compition at welteweight is lacking.

To be honest the fighter i was fearing for awhile since i keep hearing about him was julio, everybody was saying how good he is but he got exposed as an unexperianced fighter.

I don't see anybody who can beat him, besides maybe Mayweather who is making the Margarito Legend grow by ducking him along with Winky.

I read in one of his interviews that the reason he fights the way he does -aggresive- is for the fans - to give them excitment. He said he can box but thats not what the fans pay to see. I've seen him use his boxing skills, not the best boxing skills around but he can get it done.

I wont deny that by Denying comments, Floyd is certianly making the legend grow and making it seem like he is ducking.
However, I think there is more to it then that. I always thought the 8 million offer seemed fishy, and obviously FLoyd cant take the fight in October because of his contract for Novembner.
I think the welter division is good, and I think TOny could get a fight against Harris or Judah if he tried.
Also, HAtton and soon to be Cotto are at 147, and the always competitive Gatti along with Baldy.

What a ****** ass I've seen the entire fight atleast 5-6 times, as recently as last week. The first two rounds, Margarito was wobbled by right hand shots that visibly rocked him. Margarito came back a little and started to come on late after the cut, but that doesnt erase all the early stuff Santos did. Margarito lost that fight, nothing changes that.

I remember that fight was on BAD, the undercard to the Cotto-Pinto blowout. I think I've seen maybe 10-15 times more fights than you have I think its funny as hell when people nuthug contenders, atleast nuthug a champion

What fight were you watching?, the only thing Santos did well in the fight is land that decent punch in round one that hurt Margarito, but Margarito cameback and landed body punches. Margarito>Santos

When i first watched this fight when it origenally aired i thought Margarito looked like ****, too wild for the 154 pound weight class. Having seeing the fight again for the first time in years, I thought he looked tons better then what i recall. And maybe that has to do with that he is just better then the fighters that are at welterweight, thiers a reason why no one is valuentarly giving Margarito a title shot.

I never thought Margarito looked like **** in this fight, Marg got hit but was the one that was adding pressure and landing the most every round. Margarito won this fight without a doubt.

Floyd beat a Judah when he was coming off a loss,lolololololol.
Beat a bum in Gatti that got his ass whooped by Oscar.
Floyd lost to Castillo in the first fight and ran in the second knowning he can't hang on the inside with a fighter like Castillo, and I repeat, Floyd beat a distracted Corrales who was also weight drained and if you don't think its true than stop making excuses as to why Judah lost before getting in with Floyd. Please stop nuthugging
