It is obvious that the new strength and conditioning coach has improved Garcia’s game. He was absolutely devastating in there tonight considering what Granados has been able to do with other fighters. Garcia hurt him with literally every shot. This version of Garcia would probably beat both Thurman and porter in rematches judging how both of them looked in their last fights. So many good fights to be made at welterweight

Meh. He didnt get worked but he didn't do anything in those fights. He lost both of them by a good margin imo.

Granados was having his best round since the beginning of the fight and as soon as he gets hit hard, the ref stops it. I don't agree with the stoppage. He was taking much less punishment near the stoppage!

If it was a close fight sure. He was down 3 times and didn't win a round.

Granados looked severely under-powered, while DSG did what was expected against a guy who couldn't hurt him.

Those right and left hooks from Garcia were beautiful.

Yeah being in the Chicago area helps. Before his fight with Broner he was at one of the Park District fights handing out trophies to the fighters.

My current coach used to train him when he was a kid, when he was 14 or 15 years old. He brought him to George Hernandez. My coach was the one working the pads before the fight. He was rocking our gym gear, 2nd wind boxing.

I've always thought people made a little too much of Granado's competitive fights with Broner and Porter, because he is more of their size.

Contrary to popular belief, Garcia is actually 1 of the bigger welterweights out there when it comes to natural size. Probably the biggest next to Spence, he is bigger than Thurman, Porter, Khan and Crawford..

Granado's might want to try and see if he can get back down to 140.

An a side note that was WAAAY too early for a main event fight it's like what 6-7pm in Cali?
