Shouldnt boxers yearn for a title shot with the additional bonus of a multimillion purse?

I get why haymon would like his fighters to not fight joshua. He wants to freeze dazn out and make it more difficult for them to get a legit replacement, but isnt haymon supposed to bea manager and act in kownackis best interest?

Get out with loyalty. Kownacki is a decent fighter, but he wont ever be at the top. If hearn offers him a similar purse to millers, he would earn probably more than 10 times the amount that he earned for his last fight.
    Shouldn't Hearn have called Haymon?

Of course team Ortiz is not going to admit that they are ducking. They need to keep the boogeyman image alive or fans won't care about them anymore. Eddie called them and Team Ortiz said that there was not enough time to prepare for the fight aka they are probably not taking the fight. Despite all the sh#t they had to say about Joshua before, team Ortiz has gone really quiet all of a suddenly now that the fight can actually happen.

It is but there is not this great demand for boxing as it used to be like in the old days. Promoters and networks used to work together to maximize their revenuea and profits because the industry was so huge.

However, today times have changed where all the promoters and platforms wants to keep all their fighters in house because of the limited demand for boxing. They can make a lot more money by not sharing the revenues and profits with other middleman; Like promoters and networks and by keeping everything in house.

So now you got all these promoters and platforms scrambling around for all the best fighters they can get. While offering them exclusive deals.

PBC protection racket is ruining the heavyweight scene

Shame .... would have liked to see Ortiz get turned over

Haymon doesn't allow it. At PBC, it's all about Haymon's interests. Same with that "boogeyman" Ortiz who's surprisingly quiet. Seems Al shut his mouth too. #PBC******

Looks like Michael Hunter is the only available name.

Whytes ruled out, Ortiz and now Kownacki.

Hunter, Rivas, Kuzmin look most likely. I cant see Pulev wanting the fight.

Exactly none of those guys are gonna get a 6 million pay day anywhere else

I wonder with Ortiz if it’s too short notice to cycle his pEd’s

Something doesn’t seem right ... he’s been vocal in wanting a Joshua fight
