Lord Harmon won’t let Ortiz fight on DAZN.
Doesn’t really matter who they get to show up to MSG that night. The fight has already broken pre sale ticket records and that had noting to do with who was in the B side of the main event.
AJ is making more in this fight than Wilder has made in his whole career. But hey, he’s with the same guys that made Mayweather a star right? Oh wait, he’s almost in his mid 30’s and his only PPV to date didn’t even do 300k buys. Good luck with that Wilder.

Joshua fans are not big on truth I guess.

Ortiz should have been the first choice and been training already for weeks. I'm surprised that Ortiz didn't take it anyway and just show up to collect a check. Too much pride maybe.

That was then but this is now. Eddie has a talent shortage. He is having trouble signing American fighters for DAZN.

He has many dates and time slots to fill for that platform and is under an enormous and a tremendous amount of pressure to fill them. Currently, he doesn't have enough fighters to fill those slots; That's why all the U.K Fighters are now fighting in the U.S. Because of DAZN shortage.

Therefore, he can use all the American fighters he can get; Young or old.

Didn't Ortiz leave on his own under one fight remaining on his contract when being pressured to fight someone good as Whyte who was calling him out ? I remember Hearn building his profile with easy touches but wanted that Whyte fight.

As far as I've seen there been no evidence of an offer yet and/or Ortiz turning it down. Just a couple tweets saying contact has been made. Really hope this fight gets made.

yeah Ortiz is the key here. 55 year old man who lit up the heavyweight scene against a journeyman in front of 65k tv viewers in his last outing.

who by the way they already had and let go.

You're living in fantasy land mate.

Prime example of the person this thread is talking about.

Haymon, Finkel and Espinoza only care about themselves. They gain more by having him on Showtime fighting bums.
