There's no such thing as 'deserving' to step in on short notice, and the bottom line is that would be a boost to the viewrship of the card.

Augustus would make Vivian Harris his *****. Harris is not the fighter everyone thought he was. Augustus is a class A fighter who just happens to like clowing around which gets the best of him. If he settles down and actually fights he would whip Vivian Harris bad. Outclass is the word.

Augustus isn't making anyone his '*****'...not Harris anyway. Harris is a good fighter, and if Augusts struggled with Micky Ward in his prime he'll definitlely struggle with Harris. It would be a good fight and could go either way.

Neither of these guys are A-class fighters though.

Augustus has just taken way too many punches in his career. He needs to learn to stick to C and D level opposition because at least he can win some of those fights.

I don't see Showtime putting Augustus on either. He's an exciting fighter. But that's really about it. His fights are back and forth action fights. But there against C level fighters. Not really good fighters. I dislike Vivian Harris. I always taught he was overrated. But if they fight, Harris would destroy Augustus.

Struggled with Ward? He threw 1080 punches at Ward in 10 rounds on 2 weeks notice in one of the best fights of the decade. Even with Mickey winning it was very close and competitive.

Augustus could definatly hang in there with Harris, and if anything the reason he won't get this fight is becase he's a risk vs the reward.
