That would be because he's spent his whole career fighting guys on a weeks notice.

Who else calls to fight someone on little to no notice.

And who's more delusional? Easy, that'd be Tarver.

So fighting on short notice earns you a title shot?

Augustus isnt delusional, he's just ****y. He has a right to be, he gave mayweather a tough fight. But from a fans POV, he has no right to be ****y.

I think augustus is a B class fighter that is very exciting. I not only think he deserves a title shot, i think he will get one and win.

And taking fights on short notice does let u deserve a title shot in a way. If trained hard for 6 weeks for a fighter he knew he was gonna face, he would perform a lot better. COnsidering he has only taken fights one 1 or 2 weeks notice, it shows how well he can adjust and good his natural ability is.

I think he could take harris and i would love to see him try

So fighting on short notice earns you a HBO slot? Or a big money fight?

Where do you get 'earn' from?

He's willing to step in on short notice when the majority of people aren't.

He brings viewers to the table, so how's about you explain how that's a bad idea?

Because you'd rather see a much more deserving guy like Lovemore Ndou step in?

Neither deserves it. And I'm pretty sure there's a couple of fighters that would step in for an HBO slot. Augustus is just the only one who contacts *********, begging.

                  That's a funny statement.

I like Augustus, he's been robbed so many times it's not funny. He got DQ'd for cussing at the ref! I hope he gets at least one title shot some day.

Trying to get press is fine, and it's up there because people want to hear it.

There's no such thing as 'deserving' to step in on short notice, and the bottom line is that would be a boost to the viewrship of the card.
