I doubt Ortiz would ever be favorite over Joseph Parker or Dyllian White, way too static and too slow.
I picked Wilder in that fight. Ortiz is a pretty good fighter, but nowhere near the level wilder fans would like him to be

      It has to be Ortiz.

Ortiz is a better fight than Miller anyway.

This sucks. I'm guessing the opponent will be Kuzmin. Similar size to Miller, easy fight to make and not much of a threat but can still sell the undefeated part and Russian in NYC. Wallin would be my 2nd guess, but I feel pretty good about speculating Kuzmin

Kuzmin is alright, but it needs to be Ortiz or Whyte.

Can't see it being Whyte in NYC, can you?

Chances of it being Whyte are ZERO percent. When that fight happens it will be at Wembley, there's no chance in hell that happens in the US. Can't see them grabbing Ortiz on 6 weeks notice for a fight like this, will definitely be an in-house guy that will fight for less than a mil. Kuzmin checks all the boxes I think and he's not the kinda guy they would feel hesitant to sacrifice to Joshua, like they may with a guy like Hunter

It won't be Kuzmin. He's still recovering from an injury to his left hand.

Ortiz on 6 weeks notice is do-able.

The tickets are practically sold anyway.

Is he? I was wondering about that, didn't think it was that serious. Wallin is my guess then. People aren't going to like it, but this will NOT be a dangerous guy they get to fight AJ now, that's just not how these things work. It will be someone they can easily work with, for cheap, that is a minimal threat.

It seems highly unlikely. I like the Ortiz fight too for that venue.

Let's see if Ortiz really wants it.
