lol, who did you checkmate. Read the title. If it said who accomplished more after 14 fights. The you may have an argument.

Imagine is Leon Spinks stopped boxing after 8 fights. He would be the GOAT

Loma is a great fighter. His resume through 14 fights is outstanding. The reason many posters review his resume with such a fine tooth comb is in response to posters such as yourselves that embrace Loma not for his talent as a fighter, but as a symbol for your agenda. If you and some others that have responded in this thread would stop doing the things you do, I am sure the "hate" will subside.

The other reason his resume is discussed is because there is a desperate attempt to make him better than Floyd. There is a group of posters that claim Floyd wasn't that great that always elevate the "next best thing" above Floyd since Floyd defeated all of their favorite fighters and retired undefeated.

When this happens, some Floyd fans use facts to poke holes in his resume the same way the people that hate Floyd poke holes in his. To that end if these posters continually criticize Floyd for delays in fights happening, bringing guys up weight classes, questioning his opposition, etc., you can't be surprised when this is done to Loma.

It is disgraceful that some posters are attempting to use Loma like their fathers and grandfather attempted to use Larry Bird. It is also disgraceful that he is being elevated above a great fighter for no reason other than hatred and spite.

          Good point.

Although to that i'll say that it also means people have no excuse for Gervonta Davis not fighting the likes of Lomachenko. People on here have been saying he's green and still young when in fact he's 25 this year.

At 25, a world champ and being a pro for 6 years, nobody has an excuse for not fighting the best opposition.

I mean, it used to be you weren't allowed to fight for a championship belt until your 80th fight back in the day.

And if you were Black you may never get to fight for a belt like guys like Charley Burley.

In these days, there's so many alphabet belts, so guys can fight for belts early & easy

Plus, guys didn't used to be amateurs for years and years and turn pro at 25.

I mean, think about it. 70 years ago, a guy like Loma would've turned pro at 17 or 18, fought 10-12 times a year, lost 3 or 4 times and would've just been hitting his stride in his mid to late '20s.

It's hard to kind of compare his career arc with anybody. It's unprecedented
