That second Wright fight wasn't Shane doing better, it was Wright not needing the prove anything and toying around. At one point in the fight, He dropped his guard for God's sakes.

As far as Vargas saying the buldge was caused by headbutt, I don't buy it.
If it was caused by a headbutt, he has no one else to blame but himself. Everytime he came in to do is rough housing tactics, he came in with his head. He tried to push Shane off balance to land a punch.

I don't know who wins this fight and I really don't give a ****, but I'd rather see Mosley win to destroy the possibility of a trilogy.

I'm still here. Almost everyone on this website picked Hopkins to win, and that's what I meant. That's not an upset to me, no matter what the odds are, when all the EXPERTS pick the winner. I consider our opinions and the opinions of all the boxing writers more important than that of the casual gamblers. Not an upset to me, and I even said that before the fight. I made a thread that said so many people on here were picking Hopkins, that he should be the favorite. Go find it if you want.

I wasnt saying that you said it would be an upset. I guess my words came out the wrong way but I was agreeing with you. I picked Hopkins too by the way. About tonights fight though...I honestly believe Fernando Vargas will stop Shane Mosely.

Vargas will win tonight and it wont be considered an upset. Vargas has to win tonight and he knows it. How can it be an upset? like you said...in the first fight Vargas was making a valiant comeback at the time of the stoppage. He was walking Mosely down, out muscling him in the clinches and landing power shots with his right hand. All this with "one eye". Mosely never hurt Vargas no matter how many right hands he landed. Vargas can take Moselys best shots...I dont think Mosely has tasted Vargas's best yet. Until tonight.

uhh Vargas could take Mosely's righthands because Mosely was placing them on vargas' eye, when vargas takes a big punch on the button he WILL get hurt. Vargas doesen't exacly have the greatest chin but a strong enough chin to take shots higher on the head.
