When Hopkins fought Tarver, almost everybody picked Hopkins to win. Most of the experts geniunely thought Hopkins was the better fighter and would win the fight, but most fans picked against Tarver because they hated him.
Tonight, almost every boxing expert I've heard from and a good portion of boxingscene.com's staff has picked Vargas to win. I think the thinking is that Vargas almost won when he was unable to see from about the 4th round on in the first fight. I don't know if there was a headbutt or not, I'm going to watch the fight again in a few minutes and find out. But as of now, it seems like the majority is going with Vargas. With that said, is it really an upset if he wins? Because Hopkins beating Tarver did not turn out to be an upset as so many people predicted it.
