The rounds were much more contested, but Wright still took 9-10 of them. I had the first fight 117-111 for Wright and the 2nd fight 118-110 for Wright. And then in the DLH fight, he lost the 2nd time. Few people will really make a case for Mosley winning that one other than the three judges. I had DLH winning it 8 rounds to 4.
He looked terrified of Forrest in the second fight.

since you se4nt me bad karma for saying rahman hits like a ***** i feel this is a good time for me to tell you that youre wrong.

hopkins was a 3.5-1 underdog in that fight, which means two things

      1. most experts werent picking him to win
      2. most fans werent picking him to win

to say almost everybody picked hopkins to win is beyond ludicrous, and completely untrue. tarver was the betting favorite from the onset and even became a heavier favorite on the day of the fight, since youre not very informed about these things, i should tell you that means that the vast majority of the money bet on fight night was put on antonio tarver.

please stop passing off your delusions as fact. hopkins was a big underdog, and most people thought he was going to lose to the younger and bigger man.

Hopkins beating Tarver WAS a upset because Tarver was such a big favorite.

Who would have known that TArver would fight such a wimpy fight.

Even though Vargas is the underdog in the fight, I still consider

this a pick em fight. It should be dead even and I think Vargas comes

          through this time

that is true that alot of people in boxingscene picked Hopkins to win. But what matters is who is putting the most money down and all the money went on TArver

Tonight, almost every boxing expert I've heard from and a good portion of boxingscene.com's staff has picked Vargas to win. I think the thinking is that Vargas almost won when he was unable to see from about the 4th round on in the first fight. I don't know if there was a headbutt or not, I'm going to watch the fight again in a few minutes and find out. But as of now, it seems like the majority is going with Vargas. With that said, is it really an upset if he wins? Because Hopkins beating Tarver did not turn out to be an upset as so many people predicted it.

Vargas will win tonight and it wont be considered an upset. Vargas has to win tonight and he knows it. How can it be an upset? like you said...in the first fight Vargas was making a valiant comeback at the time of the stoppage. He was walking Mosely down, out muscling him in the clinches and landing power shots with his right hand. All this with "one eye". Mosely never hurt Vargas no matter how many right hands he landed. Vargas can take Moselys best shots...I dont think Mosely has tasted Vargas's best yet. Until tonight.

I'm still here. Almost everyone on this website picked Hopkins to win, and that's what I meant. That's not an upset to me, no matter what the odds are, when all the EXPERTS pick the winner. I consider our opinions and the opinions of all the boxing writers more important than that of the casual gamblers. Not an upset to me, and I even said that before the fight. I made a thread that said so many people on here were picking Hopkins, that he should be the favorite. Go find it if you want.

I agree, if Vargas wins it shouldn't be considered an upset.
