Im wit u guys, Davis is being coddled, looks to chubby for 130 and should move up to 135 and fight Loma, even if it’s after a tuneup or two.

I guessing that the Money Team is banking on Tank fans affording him a perpetual pass for fighting an endless string of Cans like Loma fans do.

But Loma and Floyd's first 13 fights. Floyd's 50 and 0 perfect record is a sham. What does perfect mean when you set up all the fights to your advantage. Floyd is not someone who you want representing you as a gladiator who fights the best there is in their prime. Floyd was all about padding his record and checkbook.

He's criticizing Mayweather because the path for Tank is the same

He called Mayweather and Tank business men because they are holding Tank back and reaping cheap ass fights that pay some good cash. They are not interested in fighting the best of the best out there. Tank is a champion and should act like one and defend his championship against other champions. Otherwise he's not a champion, not in the true sense of the word that the world respects. But I'll go beyond Loma and say what everyone knows, Ellerbe. Mayweather's 50 and 0 record is a sham. It means jack squat and history will have an asterick next to it. Loma's first 13 fights and Floyd's first 13 fights. Loma would look like a superstar if he had those same level opponents. He already does and top level competition quit against him. And it's only 13 fights. He'll far surpass Floyd historically. 396 and 1 amateur record best in history, 2 gold medals. And 3 championships in 12 fights. Fastest in history and most impressive initial 13 fight opponent resume in history. He only fights the best available, including mandatories like Crolla. Tank is ducking Loma and it's because Mayweather is scared of Loma hurting Tank's pocket book, future prospects.

Loma's point was not about Mayweather himself not being an athlete. You have to understand context, linguistically, in what he said. His point is that Mayweather is looking at Tank's future as a businessman and not as an athlete. It was about how Mayweather is leading Tank. Ellerbe can read into it because he lacks clarity and context. Loma is not up to fighting Mayweather. Mayweather is retired. It's not about Mayweather and he himself being an athlete. Loma acknowledged a number of times that Mayweather had great defense and counter as an athlete. But I'm adding, the paradigm of perfect record and pushing for bigger fights with the likes of Manny because of that record is business.

Loma, then Floyd, then Tank's opponents. Loma is far, far ahead at this point in resume than either of the two business men. And Tank complains because he beat Pedraza faster than Loma, so why is he not in the PvP talk. That's non clarity and myopism for you. Pedraza is Tank's only good opponent and came in on short notice and killed himself losing weight. Pedraza is maybe the 5th best fighter that Loma faced in 13 fights and he fought just after shoulder surgery where he didn't throw even 1 right hook. We just saw what a healthy Loma did to Crolla with that right hook. Loma fought 12 world champions and won 3 belts in 12 fights. Made 4 top level fighters quit on the stand. Tank blows out inferior cans. With that opposition Loma would look even more stellar than he does against the best in the division. He wants Garcia and Tank and Commey. Tank wants the payday and to fight once a year against mediocre nobodies.
