As for having Mikey in your top 10 ahead of Bud I just can't take that seriously.
I guess that's why it's not a legit rating system because it's biased to individuals favourites.
I just explained my logic,I rate mikey above Crawford because for his size I think hes fought better opponents that were considered a bigger test than anyone crawfords faced whom he was a huge favorite over & him often facing much bigger foes. And besides that as I said its hard to come up with exact order,I only rated him 2 places above bud anyways. Like I said im rating fighters on the competition they beat in relation to how much of a test it was considered. No doubt if this p4p was based solely on eye test it would be completely different but more pointless because to me resume matters more.

I don't rate ggg as highly because hes intent on aging himself fighting bums & because Canelo is smaller than him & he hasn't challenged himself nearly as much as canelo & is now contradicting every excuse hes ever made for facing c levels.

Remember also that its not that ggg is #10 because hes rubbish but rather because at this exact place in time in his career its hard to put him above the other fighters who imho atm are in a better place. remember regardless of ggg giving canelo a war,he still lost & is now been out 4 a yr too,& hes avoiding top opponents

So its more about what others have done rather than what he hasn't

I'm glad to see a few people call this article out for all the hype in it. I think Lomachenko is the most gifted boxer fighting today. I've watched too much boxing to say he's the best I've seen.

The only thing missing from this article is the part about him waking on water. Where was this kind of glowing article on Lomachenko when seemed to struggle a little bit in his last 2 fights? Where was his masterful efficiency when he got put on his butt by Linares?

5 Divisions Champs are the truly great ones! Loma is playing safe; will move down but not up. Better safe than sorry!?!

your right on point, but ironically they were in fact making these articles even more cringy in fact. They were referring to loma as "p4p picasso lomachenko" or "an all time great of the sport not seen since ali",the daily mail even wrote a headline about him saying "the greatest fighter since ali".

I've said from day 1 that their doing loma a huge disservice by overhyping him to extreme levels that no fighter can live up to,especially if their not looking unstoppable at 135 like loma hasn't. If they didn't ordain loma so easily I honestly think he would have much less "haters" as many people are turned off by fighters who have espn machine behind them & don't have to do the same amount as others to gain that amount of praise/hype.

Just look at these ridiculously biased articles that are cringeworthy & overly nuthugging-ly off putting :

Loma should unify with Mikey Garcia.

Linares did show up at his best, and he did hold his ground, but he couldn't keep it up for 12, and I credit Loma for that. At the end, Linares was too mentally exhausted to continue and had nothing left - the part of his brain that governs survival started to shut his body down.

Lets not forget just how good the Linares fight was, he hit Loma with a 3 punch combination at one point - even Loma showed cracks keeping up with the pace he was setting.

Linares couldn't do it again though - pschologically he would be going into a situation where he knows he is incapable of going 12, and he would shut down mentally much sooner.

Mentally, opponents train to go 12 rounds at 800m pace, and Loma takes it to 100m pace early on, then its attrition.
You sir understand boxing very well. Loma's conditioning is second to none and while Linares could do very well for the first 6,7 rounds he just couldn't keep up with Loma's style and pace. Same thing Spence does as far as pace. Spence has a different style but it's pretty much an attrition game like you said.

"Lomachenko Demolishes Crolla in Four Round Mismatch"

                  By Michael Rosenthal

This is the RIGHT TITLE for an article involving this fight.

You l0m0 fans say that he's the best of all time fighting bums. How does that work? He has an L & hasn't beat many fighters. Is he flavor of the month or something?
