    Sergey looked horrible tonite
He seemed to tire out in the beginning and then towards the end of the fight
    No power in his shots
Wondering to myself if he overtrained or is he just in decline

Who can say for sure? I have always been highly critical of Abel Sanchez and his approach to training fighters - case in point was when he had Cotto and Cotto forgot about his left hook.
GGG has forgotten how he could be considerably more effective if he went back to working in some body shots - he threw single digits in the second fight and about the same in the first.
      How can Vanes vindicate GGG?

      That doesnt even make sense

No human being can somehow say "I say it is okay therefore it is okay for all people".

You must live under a dictator Kiowhatta, but that ain't right and here in the States we dont take kindly to that...unless you're a Trump bigot XD XD XD

        He probably meant Sergei D.

Sergiy Derevyanchenko doesn’t believe Gennady Golovkin ducked him. The middleweight contender realizes he was a high-risk, low-reward alternative for Golovkin o

Even that though means nothing. The REASON GGG had "other plans" (to fight Vanes instead of Sergei D, Andrade, Lara, or BJS) was because they were AFRAID of losing and surrendering the Canelo rematch.

Shame Gggirl/Loeffler didnt realize CANELO wanted the rematch more than anyone as he knew he could and would do better

Nonsense. No one ever worried about Sergei d and they would worry even less after his last two fights. He just got passed over for a better opportunity. Sergei d could have fought the winner of Canelo vs GGG in September while getting a soft touch on the undercard. but no...dummy pushed the issue and had to settle for Jacobs (who schooled him) and culcay who gave him a tough fight for a whole he'll of a lot less.

This was a very entertaining and good fight! I thought that Derevyanchenko just barely eked it out in the championship rounds. Overall, I thought it was a highly spirited fight.

You're acting like Andrade, BJS and Lara were available for the date...get real. Who says they wanted the fight? Saunders has openly ducked Golovkin before and I liked Saunders. The only one to blame for that situation was Canelo since he failed a PED test

That he did. I just think a good pressure fighter would roll Culcay pretty easily and I thought Dervy would fall into that category. Basically it looks like Culcay=Vanes=Dervy and I was expecting more out of Dervy, based on his amateur credentials and hype.

He's also ignoring the fact that GGG and bjs had a deal signed for an August fight if the rematch with Canelo fell through.

that is not what happened. he wasnt ordered to fight derev until after the vanes fight was signed. after vanes he obviously had better fights planned so he had to drop the belt. all this of course is canelos fault but you blame ggg for some reason
