Broner while being a weight bully struggled with Ponce. Everyone excused it but the writing was on the wall Daggum. The sign to look out for is other fighters refusing to fight him or asking for a **** load of money to do it. Fighters at the world level know what they are looking at way more than us fans do. Tell me who ever feared or avoided Berto or Broner that was world class. You could maybe make a case for Ricky Burns for Broner.

who has lopez even tried to fight cept pedraza? pretty sure there are more fighters out there than that. also lopez is an undercard fighter meaning he doesnt bring much money to those opponents. he just made 20k. its not really ducking if you can only offer that much to guys who have made hundreds of thousands in the past. those other guys like broner/berto were headlining very early in their careers so its a completely different dynamic. they werent offering opponents 20k or less to fight. lopez simply cant get the opponents unless he builds his star power. that just takes time but top rank usually does this pretty well.
