Money will do that I suppose. I learned early on I would make more money in the USA and have a higher standard of living than I would have in the uk and my lady has learned that too. We still keep property in the GM area...but the USA is where it’s at. Now I don’t make sports athlete money but it is no surprise that Joshua looked at what he was really making and compared it to what he could be making and put his silly attempt at colonial minded nationalism aside and came to the USA.

Big Baby has handled guys like Washington, Wach and Duhaupas fairly easily so he's clearly above that level but I think Joshua is going to be too fast and explosive for him.Comment

Agreed, we don’t know what’s going to happen. Intersting thing is I’ve never seen big baby hurt....I’ve never seen him tired...I’ve never seen himnout of his depth or control. Now Joshua has had much better competition for sure but there are many examples in boxing history where talent level and style matchup trumped experience. The question really is whether or not big baby’s talent can overcome Joshua’s experience at the top level. Joshua has shown he can get tired and he can be hurt. It will be intersting to see what kind of a strategy big baby will employ because there in lies the key to this fightComment

I have to agree with you here. Wilder is probably going to get a bit of a fight from Breazeale but he ultimately wins by KO. And Fury is just trying to stay in shape and stay relevant by fighting Schwartz. AJ is facing the most danger. It’s a huge night of boxing in nyc because baby is from Brooklyn. Baby is also a legitimate contender who I’d favor against both breazeale and fury. I favor AJ in this bout, but there’s risk there.Spoken like a true champ. Respect.
If Deyonce talked this way instead of shouting '50/50, 4 hunnit years, baby oil, I can avoid dangerous fighters for 2 years' then maybe he would have more fans and he would be the A side.
Miller is just a stepping stone to a bigger fight, but he is a live dog at least and knocking him out at MSG in front of his own crowd will solidify AJ in prime position.
Deyonce v Breazeale and Fury v Schwarz does nothing for those guys.Comment

He said he was impressed by MSG watching Canelo vs. Fielding! Doesn't he train Miami?Money will do that I suppose. should be a good scrap, aj will win but it wont be easy, good luck to both fighters, we will not see the fights we want to see until maybe 2021 or late 2020.Comment

As other people have said it is an interesting fight precisely because we don't really know what Miller can do at this level.
At heavyweight anyone can be hurt. We do know that Klitschko has serious power and that Whyte has serious power and AJ has survived being clipped by them. The question is whether a fighter is sound and smart. I think AJ is but we shall see.
What is absolutely clear is that AJ has serious power. Anyone he connects with is out of there pretty fast. He is explosive and heavy handed. If Miller has defensive weaknesses AJ will find them, he's a thinking fighter. And if he finds them he will hurt Miller. I don't think anyone can take those shots. So I expect AJ to finish him, probably around 8.Comment

Yes, Miller has hand speed but not a lot of power. He is a slow plodder who eats punches and throws high volume of arm punches. Moreover, his punches doesn't have a lot of snap or pop on them either. He typically wears his opponents down with an accumulation of shots with a high workrate and cardio conditioning.Comment
