The division is weak, so much so that Loma is stalking Tank who’s currently a division under him. So Loma would be doing HIMSELF the biggest favor.

nobody's preventing him from calling out loma and wanting that fight. i just can't understand why some people are falling for it and acting like he has done something to earn it.

Furthermore, some fighters get better after they zealously bite off more than they can chew. Look at Canelo. Loma lost to Salido early on and only got better from it.

nah it's not the same...canelo was already a title holder and had already beaten a guy like trout before fighting floyd. he's already gained valuable experience and passed higher levels in boxing for him not to get derailed by a loss against floyd. as for loma, yeah too early for him to fight at that level but he didn't get dominated by salido. it was a close fight and salido had to fight him dirty. he came overweight on purpose and was 145 lbs on fight night for a featherweight fight. he rehydrated almost 20 lbs only because he didn't try to make the featherweight limit in the first place. still loma wobbled him in the 12th round and showed he's the more skillful fighter. that's not the kind of loss that would affect a fighter's confidence.

As far as ur Jeff Lacy comment goes, some contenders pass the initial eye test, but then get exposed as one dimensional pretenders. So it wasn’t that Jeff Lacy was ruined by getting put in there with someone really good too early. He was one dimensional and got exposed. Same as Nicholas Walters.

yeah lacy was one dimensional after the fight. before the fight he was this knockout machine who will stop calzaghe just like how a few of you see lopez to be that guy against loma.
