Loma has a max of two years (his body is breaking down, believe it or not, almost past prime. Doesn't depend on age.). It'd be sad to be wasted on cans while making peanuts.

Loma said he doesn't want the fight unless Teofimo Lopez has a title! I'm not going to call that a duck! Nothing to disagree with in regards to my post, just fishing out your PBC agenda. You know how to defend anything PBC or posts that seems to criticise them, but when it come to others you are quieter than a churches mouse. Because those ones don’t suit your agenda. I could criticise Top rank or GBP for the same s hit that you pointing out here, you would be no where to be seen, but let it involve a PBC fighter and hmmm here we have Ake the crybaby asking questions about why you criticising that boxer/promoter/manager/network. Loma fans use that amateur record in any way the agenda can be moved. Sometimes it counts, others it doesn't. Even If we take amateur record into account, a critic can still point out the fact that it didn't help him much at all, in losing to a journeyman with 12 losses in Salido.

Doesn't matter how much amateur experience you have, you will know nothing about:
(a) how to pace yourself in a 12 round championship fight
(b) how to react when continually hit in the nuts without the ref doing anything about it

Loma started far too slowly against Salido and generally fought at a much slower pace than he needed for fear of making the rookie mistake of getting gassed (as he was a rookie at that distance). He ended the fight with a full gas tank - a mistake he never made again. And if he gets hit in the nuts now he makes a show of demanding acknowledgement from the ref (in defending his performance, Lawrence Cole later said 'he never looked at me or complained about the low blows once' as partial defence at his inaction against them)
