  • Comments Thread For: Teofimo Lopez: I'll Show Everyone How To Beat Lomachenko!

Rising lightweight star Teofimo Lopez (12-0, 10 KOs) will be looking to do a lot of damage when he faces Edis Tatli on the April 20 undercard of the Terence Crawford-Amir Khan ESPN Pay-Per-View from Madison Square Garden in New York City. The goal for Lopez is to secure a showdown, by the end of the year, with WBO, WBA world champion Vasiliy Lomachenko.

Relax man. You have only beaten a past prime C level Magdaleno.

Just don't see them fighting anytime soon. I don't think he beats Lomachenko at the moment and I don't see Arum risking that unblemished record when he can let the fight "marinate".

Wasn't a fan of how he handled the Magdeleno victory, I can't imagine Tatli being able to keep Lopez off of him. Commey would be a good stiff test for Teofimo provided that Commey's hand has healed by that point.

Who didn't see this coming? I say Teo gets his wish, if it really is his wish. Let's see if Loma can fight through generations, beat the young lions. This is at least as good as Crolla.

Nice. Spoken like a champ, Teo.

Would Loma grow some balls? Lopez is screaming for this fight. What's the problem? Should the WBA rate him a bogus "regular" champ first?

          Screw all that crap.

Big talk when you know your promoter is not even intrested in making this fight. Arum is not willing for his number one prospect to take a loss this early in his career.

Not a fan of Loma and I really think Mikey would beat him in a close fight but I have to favor the Ukrainian over this overhyped, arrogant clown whose best win to date was Magdaleno.
