Ray, I'm one of the guys saying Loma should fight Lopez. Please check my posts and show me where I ever talk about PBC and their fighters. I could care less about most of them except maybe a few, like Davis and Spence. Not everyone is hating because they have an agenda or a narrative.Comment

Loma fans use that amateur record in any way the agenda can be moved. Sometimes it counts, others it doesn't. Even If we take amateur record into account, a critic can still point out the fact that it didn't help him much at all, in losing to a journeyman with 12 losses in Salido.Yeah, let's conveniently pretend like amateur career has never affected someone's professional status in any way or shape. Let's pretend like Lomachenko wasn't a hyped professional from his all-time great amateur record. Or better yet, let's pretend like Sugar Ray Leonard had no hype created from his amateur career. That's not BS. You conveniently acting like that has no barring is hilarious.
Lomachenko demanded that professional title shot by his second fight. He found a promoter who was willing, and able, to make it happen. That's why he signed with Top Rank. What's the problem there?
But anyways...
Salido wasn't a top-level, elite P4P and was getting paid what was a lot in his career to fight Lomachenko, by Top Rank. What does Lopez offer Lomachenko? Pay? Glory? The answer is probably, neither, at least, not at this point in time.
At the end of the day, it's Lomachenko's choice on whether or not to fight Lopez. Him not fighting him now means nothing. You're trying too hard, but your logic is really poor here. Again:
What does Lomachenko get from beating a young 21 year old with no top 10 wins, no belts, and not even a mandatory? You and I, as well as most boxer pundits know the same haters will say: "who did Lopez beat?"--- and they're right.
It does nothing for him.
P.S. You're also the same dude claiming Nicholas Walters is not a good win, despite him being a top fighter at 126, him being horribly robbed against Sosa (in a fight he lost maybe one round), and despite people thinking of putting him into the P4P top 10 a few years back. Walter's had a good rep before the Sosa robbery/Lomachenko fight.
See the difference? A proven world champion, never looked bad in any fight and always dominated his competition--- yet you don't give Lomachenko credit for that.
Funny how that works.
Lopez has more pro fights than when Arum bought Loma the shot at that ******, vacant WBO belt. Why can't Lopez get the shot?Last edited by BoxingIsGreat; 04-09-2019, 07:07 PM.Comment

You make ZERO sense. This young gun is trying not to fight 30 cans, and go to the man in the division, straight up. Why don't you like that? It's only 1 fight. How does it hurt Loma? And, if Loma loses, he already knows how to lose, not a big deal. What's the issue?Comment

Clearly not speaking of Loma losing at all. Learn to read before replying. You are the one not making sense here idiot. You make ZERO sense. This is what you wrote, referring to Lopez: "just don't go Wilder or Chavez Jr. and take easy fights for 30+ fights."
I responded that Lopez didn't want to do that, otherwise he wouldn't want to fight Loma. Why are you crying and insulting others?Comment

I agree with the points you make. It would be wise for Lopez to stay busy, keep winning, gain experience. No need to rush. I know that he is chomping at the bit but he is only 21 with just 12 bouts under his belt. Another year of fights can only help. The key is the right matchmaking!Tatli is about the right level of progression for Lopez - above average skills, but not too much pop. Lopez should be able to walk through him and keep looking fantastic. Tatli hasn't been stopped as he hasn't faced anyone above club level with a decent KO percentage - he's never been hit by anyone who can crack like Lopez before, might only take one punch.
Can't think of any reason Commey would choose Lopez over Loma. Loma is more money for him plus a belt if he wins, Lopez got nothing to offer Commey except risk.
I highly doubt Garcia returns to 135, but if he does, can't see Garcia seeing anything attractive in a Lopez fight either. Garcia more likely to take a tune-up to get back on his feet at the weight, then go looking for Loma himself.
Only hope for Lopez is if WBC orders Campbell v Lopez for the WBC if Garcia vacates. That would also be a nice step-up for Lopez as Campbell is a level over Tatli, and can hit back. If Lopez rolls Campbell, then he's ready for the ultimate test -Loma.
But he'd have to wait till March ad Commey/Loma gets in the way, and he's already said he can't do that because of growing weight issues.
Loma won't take Lopez before Commey as no belt and win or lose, all downside for Loma. If he wins he gets no credit for beating a 'kid'.Comment

Yeah, we just needed to expose him as we all did in that threadComment

Lopez has been vocal about fighting Davis too.
For obvious reasons you want Loma to take on Lopez first lol
A young gun fight btw Davis and teo would make more sense than anything else.
Seems like you don't want that work for your fat kid Davis and beg for daddy Loma to take on teo.
Meanwhile fat tank is safe to take on the Linares coming off 2 ko losses and eating cookies.
Your fanboy game is so obvious, it is just great to expose your pathetic agenda.
You're just the definition of what is wrong on this forum.
And you acting like the unbiased cat make you a fake a.ss in my book.Comment
