Comments Thread For: Don't Begin The 10 Count Over A Prone Amir Khan Just Yet

By Michael Rosenthal - Two upcoming fights featuring the Nos. 1 and 2 pound-for-pounders bring back memories of the old days, when great boxers picked on valiant, but limited British fighters and almost always (it seemed) emerged victorious. Vasyl Lomachenko defends his lightweight titles against Anthony Crolla of...

Trying to convince people ythat he will box and stay away from Bud. But we all know Khan is always in a dog fight and will see his head spinning anywhere between the 3rd and 7th round.

Defense is the key for Khan in the first 9 rounds and then kill or be killed in the last 3 rounds of the fight!

Khan will start fast, might even win the first couple of rounds, I wouldn't be completely shocked if he even managed to knock Crawford down or stun him early. But eventually Crawford will adjust, wear him down and then stop him by the 9th.

It is TC's fight to lose but i am not counting Khan out.
It is going to be a lot more interesting than people realize.

Wow if you notice khan is doing all this talking while Terrence is getting it in quietly in training.instead of doing all this talking he better be putting all his energy into training not talking.I think he's in big trouble.

Khan doesn’t get gradually worn down and stopped. He makes a ****** mistake and allows himself to be timed, then gets put to sleep with the first heavy shot that connects.

Have a feeling that Crawford may not carry enough power to KO Khan. He still likely wins by UD but it could be more interesting than people think. Although Khan has been knocked down multiple times he gets up (expect for the starchings, and they have been beautifully timed shots). Maidana couldnt put him away, nor could countless others. If bud can't hit hard enough at welter then i dont think he can break Khan down for the stoppage. So, TC by UD but in a much closer than expected fight.

                  Exactly this.

It will be a case of Terence "One Time" Crawford.

Khan's chin seems to be the connection point of all his limbs; when he gets hit there, his body becomes that of an uncontrollable puppet.

Anyone who gets hit solidly in the chin the way Khan was hit in the Alvarez and Garcia fights will go down. The main problem with Amir Khan is less with his chin than with his defense. Despite Amir's speed, at times he becomes predictable and can get tagged. Timing neutralizes speed. Bud is not overpowering, but he is definitely the smarter fighter. He will figure Khan out and dominate the fight.
