Sadly I don't know if Charlo is. His only opponent so far who we know is fairly high level - Trout - he went 12 close rounds at 154.
His only potentially decent other fight was at 160 against Korobov - a guy with good skills but a suspect chin, who was 35 and had only fought once since 2016, a guy most people thought was effectively retired before that fight was made - and it was an even closer fight than Trout (I thought a draw was probably the right call with Korobov but could have been 7-5 either way).
The Charlos look the part physically, but boxing skills wise they are far behind the top guys in their respective weight classes. They have basically shown that multiple times.
Btw it's funny how people talk about GGG's resume, but Charlo's 2nd best win is over Korobov, a very close fight against a formerly good boxer who is past his prime and was very inactive, especially against good competition.
GGG stopped Vanes in 2 rounds, and Vanes is younger than Korobov, was probably better at his peak, and Vanes was coming off a similar period of inactivity as Korobov. And that is GGG's like 14th best win lol.
As for vanes, he fought Erislandy Lara May 21st of 2016 THEN golovkin in May 5th of 2018. vanes was at 154 pounds AND was 3-3 in his last 6 fights!
golovkin has YET to beat a Top level fighter.Comment

I agree about context, the thing is though - love him or hate him, GGG was the boogeyman at MW for a good 5+ year stretch. A lot of guys around that weight didn't want to face him at 160 as the reward and risk ratio were out of whack for them. GGG still was fighting more or less the best possible opponent every time out though. He racked up a lot of good KO wins in that stretch against good and really good fighters.
For Charlo, I don't mind a couple tune ups at a higher weight. But when your last 4 at MW are Heiland (one leg), Centeno (honestly awful) and Korobov (good fighter but everyone thought he was retired and had a weak chin) and now Adams. Vs GGG's last 4 are Canelo twice and Jacobs and then Vanes. No real comparison there and Charlo age wise should be in his prime vs GGG at the tail end of his.
I mean the only guys Charlo has ever faced that we know are good or OK fighters are Korobov and Trout and he went 12 hard rounds with them. GGG has like 15 of those guys on his resume and they are all KO wins.
I like Charlo but there is no real excuse to have those 4 guys as your first 4 at MW. Not if you claim to be the man. I don't mind a couple tune ups, and honestly if he wants a stay busy fight then Adams is maybe the best he can do here.
But seems clear that if he wants the big fights he has to go to DAZN. And he is 28, I think it needs to start happening soon. All the other top guys are at DAZN, he could have 5 more fights at MW and not have any of the top 4 MWs on his resume at that point. That's crazy.
pvssy g did not have K.O. wins "against good and really good fighters"
Jermall has fought the same competition as pvssy g at 160 with those names you mentioned but you say they were good when pvssy g fights them but not Jermall? F that dumb shet. Now that Mall beat korobov he was "retired" when he just fought that SAME YEAR & was training to fight on the undercard of the fight Mall was headlining?!?! Just cuz Mall cracks him all of the sudden he has a weak chin but NO ONE said that BEFORE the fight?!?!
NO ONE has to sign ANYWHERE to get a fight, they have you FOOLED. Jermall is the MANDATORY so they will HAVE to give him his shot NO MATTER where they are signed to.
pvssy g LOST to Jacobs & Nelo TWICE, the ONLY good fighter he fought his WHOLE pro career.
You pvssy g fans aint slick trying to throw shade at Mall subliminally.
A massive shakeup has been occurring around boxing in regards to network implications with especially influential consequences in the middleweight division. We’
Fvk the dumb shet!!!! WE WANT Jermall Charlo vs golovkin!!!!Comment

Lol. Durable in context I suppose. I consider him a better bet to be able to give GGG more rounds than Adams or that other guy I have never heard of.
N'dam only stopped once and he was in there with Stevens, Lemieux, Murata (2), Quillin, Khurtside, Murray. Much better opposition than the other 2 guys I've heard rumored for GGG and N'dam was basically as good as all of those guys I mentioned. But at 35 he probably isn't what he was either.
I think N'dam and GGG were supposed to fight a while ago actually and I think N'dam vacated though but maybe the circumstances would be different now and he would want that fight.
Tell your social media to get Pvssy G to man up & fight Jermall!!Comment
