difference is all the beltholders are on dazn and Andrade is available to him right now. Charlo doesn't have those options where he is fighting. Yes I would prefer Suckleki or the guy Jacobs beat, but PBC is anemic at MW. GGG doesn't have that excuse

To add, Jermall tried to get a fight with suckleki but he ducked Mall too..LOL

Charlo had a choice between Korobov and Adams and he cherrypicked the bum!

DAZN needs GGG vs Canelo/Jacobs winner at year-end, so of course they want a soft option for GGG's next fight, hence the offer to Adams - basically Adams not seen as having a realistic chance, and a tool to make GGG look like his old self again by blasting him out in a couple of rounds.

So can understand the GGG angle, and if not Adams, then will be someone else of same calibre so the winner Canelo/Jacobs fight doesn't get derailed

But why Charlo fight someone of this calibre ? I don't see a gameplan or reason other than to keep treading water - waiting for what ? (If its a Canelo or GGG mandatory - not going to happen as they got big buck business over on DAZN - belts will be dropped if necessary, Canelo now same position Matweather was - doesn't need belts any more to hype his fights, and GGG's deal with DAZN too sweet for him to turn his back on it).

What you don't get is that if Nelo drops the belt its there for Mall to pick up & after picking up the belt he would STILL have options to fight Nelo, Pvssy G, Jacobs or Boo Boo. What's the excuse going to be, ducking the Champion?? LMMFAO!

But is Charlo/Golovkin even worth mentioning any more ? The WBC is pretty consistant with pathing that maximises their revenues, and while Golovkin was a free agent, they incorpotated Charlo into their plans with a very possible (at the time) scenario of Charlo/Golovkin then winner/Canelo.

But all that relied on Golovkin either signing a deal with Showtime, or remaining a free agent. The moment Golovkin signed with DAZN, Charlo/Golovkin wasn't happening, and Sulaiman made clear last Dec that if Golovkin chose another route to Canelo III it would go to the WBC board for a vote, and his expectation was that it would be approved.

I guess we can call it whatever we want, but it is what it is - Golovkin will fight an Adams level scrub leading up to Golovkin vs Canelo/Jacobs winner, and the WBC will support it all the way.

No point speculating what happens after that as it depends what happens in the Canelo/Jacobs/Golovkin fights - DAZN will be hoping like hell that the fights have people demanding a rematch berween 2 of the three as that keeps their bandwagon rolling, but need the fights to play out before DAZN and the WBC decide what best serves their interests going forwards (which might be the same or different).

Charlo/Golovkin as a plan was a good idea at the time, but its no longer relevant to anyone, Golovkin, Canelo, WBC or DAZN.
