The article says they're selling off a property to raise money for another property. They're hemmorghing money.
You honestly can't believe they're anywhere near making a profit. They've added commercials & doubled the price in less than a year. Now they're selling off a property to raise money.

Bingo....that is all due to ultranationalism. They want to see their British company so well, they want Hearn to be too, these are poor council estate chav kids who live vicariously through Eddie Hearn. They want to be important to and in the USA. If one isn’t from or hasn’t lived in the uk it’s hard to understand just how much the “country vs country” and the “we hate the yanks” mentalities dominate particularly in the poorly educated and overly intoxicated council estate chav cultureComment

I don’t think non Americans can understand this. They just don’t get how niche boxing is in the USA. The fact that it pays so well in the USA is really more to the population size and spending power of the us population. That’s what makes it more ofna money market than the uk. If the uk was the same size it would dominate boxing for sure. American big athletic men are in basketball and football. There really is no other sport in the uk for men who are 6’5 and 250 lbs. the closest thing would be rugby which isn’t exactly a “I come from the hood and been fighting to survive my whole life” sport. They just don’t get that isolating boxing, the ppv model of the 90s and 2000s really burned the sport out and removed it from common view. When it left network shows like wide world of sports it hurt the sport as a whole. Boxing on network tv is the only way to grow the sport. If dazn had a network option like ESPN it would be a highly attractive option.Comment

What does that have to do with their US division? You think they would take money from the areas that are working to try to get in the US where they can't even get the major sports? The fact that they are selling off resources, doubling their monthly prices and doing a low price to guarantee at LEAST $100 per subscriber lets me know that they are trying to sc**** up every dollar they canComment

PPV is put on the bill & can be paid later & boxing fans still stream or chip in to buy it. This $100 must be paid in full upfront. They couldn't get people to stop using the free trialsand pay the $10Comment

Almost 2/3 of Americans can't come up with $500 in an emergency. You think boxing fans are more affluent than the average American?
