Bud seems like a cool guy. He's got the self-belief that he needs to have to be as good as he is.
I have him as #2, with Loma as #1. If people want to rank Bud as #1 in their personal lists I can respect that decision - even if I see it otherwise - I think their call is justifiable.
IMHO resume is an important part of P4P. But it isn't everything. It isn't just about who a fighter has fought, it is also about how well he did in that fight. It is also about who that fighter hasn't fought.
I don't think there is any need to accept corrupt decisions when making P4P rankings. Corrupt or simply incompetent judging causes massive financial loss to fighters, and elevates others unfairly. It is a sickness within the sport. If a fighter was robbed in the ring, it would be ****** to let this affect their P4P rankings.
I don't support or accept corruption and don't consider those outcomes to be somehow magically valid. It is bad that they happen, and I think boxing fans need to call it as they see it.
Canelo lost one fight to GGG and won one fight against him. So unless anyone had GGG as their #1, I don't see much of a case for having Canelo up there. He's within the top 10.
