Comments Thread For: Crawford: I See Myself at The Top Pound-For-Pound Fighter

WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford views himself as the best pound for pound fighter in the sport. For this reason, Crawford does not pay attention to the fact that Vasyl Lomachenko, the lightweight champion of the WBO and the WBA, is considered the best boxer in the world by some of the mainstream media.

Crawford is a cool guy. He has been Undisputed Champion so I understand why he sees himself as top p4p. As a fighter you always have to believe you're the best or have confidence in your abilities.

Reality Check. They end up in the stools of the Best Heavyweights. It's just manufactured opinion.

No you're not bro, amir Khan will be your first real test, you've been fighting class c fighters all your career, you unified the weakest division at that moment which is the 140 pound division..you need to beat both Errol Spence and Keith Thurman to be #1 p4p

that's not the primary criteria for p4p. It's about skill, your ability to be effective across multiple weight classes, your in ring performances. It's supposed to be, if size difference wasn't a factor, who would be the best fighter in the world. If size weren't a factor, I don't see anyone that'd beat Crawford, except maybe spence. But you do sound somewhat foolish trying to diminish his wins vs 2 undefeated champions at the time he faced them just because he outclassed them.
