Porter has no chance...he'll never get inside on Spence and just get tagged all night.

How the hell is he a chicken, Spence hater? He already went to England to KO Brook. You remember Brook don't you. He came to America to beat Porter and his only loss was to the middleweight champion. Spence has previously tried to get fights with Thurman, Danny Garcia and Porter and they all turned him down. Why is Spence the chicken and not them?

Porter all the way. Who has Spence fought and beaten compared to Usyk? Usyk is a boss. Garcia is too, anyone with an avacado farm is boss status in my eyes. But Usyk...Porter beat that guy. Usyk is better than Spence. I bet Bellew picks Porter.

I think Porter has to fight the perfect fight to have a chance but I dont think he will. And I dont think that mauling Spence would be an option for Porter because he would get hammered driving forward. This puts Porter in two no-fly zones, the inside, and the outside and his outside boxing skills can get him by some fighters, but not Spence in my opinion. I cant see Porter winning and it could be the first time he gets stopped.

Interesting. What's the rumored cut distributors get now in these sorta situations? If you've heard of one.

I heard this was becoming more of a thing, but haven't heard anything beyond massive speculation on what the new cut could end up being.

Fair play. The international revenue & sponsorship money feels a lil high-ish to me doe. But with the Fox App situation & the likely more favorable cut from distributors it probably all evens out anyway.

In regards to how much they are getting paid?

Idk man. With how Haymon operates you get what you can get after you pay the people you gotta pay.

I always wonder exactly how much Fox would be taking of the PPV revenue & how much the flat fee the promoter would be paid. The distributor we have info of, in the past anyway. And I assume its all mostly going to the fighters from there & Haymon takes his % from that.

So if you can sell you can get paid $10Mish or w/e. Thats the good part about PPV which is why I was surprised Canelo flipped over to DAZN (although I've kinda always thought he hated selling fights so a more consistent guaranteed payment structure might be better/less stressful for him) & why I think Joshua is short selling himself if he doesn't attempt to become a US PPV draw. The upside is so f#cking up with PPV still.
You think 5-7M for international revenue and sponsorship is a bit high? Possibly, but I'm also using 50% distributor rate here and it very well only be like 45%.

Not in terms of how much they get paid, but in terms of how much revenue a Spence/Porter fight generates opposed to a Spence/Garcia. Porter is going to want a similar guarantee to what Garcia got and Spence will want around the same he got as well. I'm not doubting that, just that the fight itself won't be as successful at the gate or at box office.

September? IDK man I really want Spence to be a face in boxing but every time he does something, then he's gone for 5 or 6 months

Promoter gets six figures, depending on size of the event.

One thing that helps Haymon fighters in PPVs are he just gives a set amount to the promoter and all the upside goes to the fighters. And because they have their promotional company involved, they get to write off quite bit of expenses. Really, if you are a PPV level fighter, then being with Haymon just maximizes your earning power. And Spence also sold his own personal merchandise at the fight.

I remember Floyd would pay for all the food/drinks/merchandise sold at the fights and then take the profits from all sales. Wonder if Haymon does that with other fighters as well?

Yes, like every other "face" in boxing, who most people don't know.
