I think I'm more apt to avoid this one or bet the dog if the dog odds are nice enough. And I expect Manny to be the dog here but how much of a dog idk.
I'd be very interested in the over/under on this fight. If its at like 10.5 like the Broner fight (easiest bet of the year was over) I will also take a hard look at the over since it'll probably head to the cards

Thurman threw almost 1000 punches vs Lopez. His activity and boxing skills will be too much for the old man. Keith by wide UD.

Pac just came off "dominating" broner , albeit in a uneventful fight..

while thurman clearly won but was badly hurt in his last fight. the narrative will be that he "struggled"

So im guessing the betting line will be about even. god forbid they might even place a 40 year old pac as the favorite. i happen to believe pac has looked as good as he has in his last two fights because of his opponents. thurman is still much bigger, fresher, and stronger then pacman. im a pac fan but i think this is the one he gets dominated and officially stamps his ticket out of the WW picture
This is 100% true. The Josesito that fought Thurman would have given Manny a tougher fight than Broner and Matthysse did.

Yea I'm with you on this one. The over is a solid bet. It'll for sure be the favored bet but if its still like -150, -170 or around that range I like it. Definitely like it more then betting on who wins.

I hope (though I know it won't happen) that this is a co-main event PPV with Pac-Thurman/Spence-Porter. Neither fight is good enough on it's own to be PPV IMO... but I'll be shelling out money for both smh

You already know the answer to this question. Thurman looked quite vulnerable against Lopez and Manny "saw something".

Good fight. If both happen, PBC will consolidate 4 WW champs into 2.

There is as good of a chance as those two being on the same card as a football player having some finesse to his bball game lmao.

I think he sticks around at WW, I really do. He probably knows he can't hang with Spence/Crawford, but sees all the other WWs as beatable. And he matches up VERY well with DSG.
Mikey is heading to 135lbs, and the reasons are pretty obvious.

Garcia vs Luke Campbell (mandatory defense) is a good and marketable fight, Commey's injury has now helped make a Garcia-Commey unification fight make more sense, and doing so freezes out Teofimio Lopez for another year, and leaves Vasyl Lomachenko with no viable headline fights (a little pettiness is warranted after Arum froze him out for two years).

Only issue is if he can still make the weight properly; he makes it down and it's three fights to seal the division, before heading to 140lbs and eyeing Prograis, Figueroa Jr, and even Ramirez.

                      - -Ever since Thurman hurt his ribs and shoulder, he's gotten good at running.

At Manny's age with senate duties, last thing he needs is another runner. Danny Garcia a mediocre boxer but tough would be perfect for PAC.

Manny could beat Porter, but that take a year recovery. He only signed with Hayman cause TUE promised a rematch he's already reneged on.

Now a fight with Conor would tick all the boxes including finances, that's the one!
