In what world are you living? His corner never said he lost the fight after the full 12 rounds idiot. Stop revising history. About 90% of the media members there didn't have Canelo winning. And on a poll here it was visible that most fans had GGG winning as well. You can't change history and pretend it was something else. 2nd fight was still controversial.

There is no shame in losing to a future hall of farmer like Canelo. GGG is still a great fighter.

sir, when I say overhyped I meant those saying he was the greatest middleweight of all time, an ATG already before the Jacobs n canelo fights, and all that stuff. hes definitely a very good fighter, any fighters resume can be knit picked so I don't really go that route with him but I do bring it up when I see his fans downing others resumes. I'm sorry we don't see eye to eye but please refrain from the name calling, we are over 8 years old, and its just a sport. have a good one

Golovkin looked horrible against Canelo. Not saying Canelo looked flawless either but he at least showed a lot of improvement in the out put and intensity department.
Golovkin just looked his age big time. His build and style reminds me of Joe Louis. He doesn't have the physicality and build for handling guys who get inside on him.

GGG own trainer trying to hide it from the HBO cameras telling GGG to his face that you are losing the fight lol

GGG own trainer did about a DOZEN different interviews after the fight telling numerous different reporters that he didn't think GGG won the fight.

GGG own trainer's answer when directly asked was why GGG was backing up from Canelo after they demanded Mexican Style fight and was that the game plan you had.

“I wanted Golovkin to fight Canelo. If Canelo was gonna stand in the middle of the ring, I wanted him to fight Canelo. He decided it was better to do the things that he did." - Able Sanchez

Asked a follow up on why he did that

“If I start to make excuses about Golovkin, then I’m taking away from the victory of Canelo, and that’s ridiculous. We as coaches can only coach them and do the best we can in the gym and have a game plan. When we get in there, they see things that maybe are better for them. We can’t force them to do something they don’t want to do." - Able Sanchez

Sanchez told him round after round that he was NOT fighting the right fight GGG ignored him then finally told him to his face you are losing this fight and then made sure the world knew after the fight that the way GGG fought was NOT the gameplan they came up with and was all GGG. Basically told everyone this idiot just wouldn't listen to me that's why he lost. And still GGG fanboys calling robbery to a fight his own trainer acknowledged GGG didn't win.

you didn't have to say all that....you could've just told Lomadook that at 18 years of age, Canelo, in his 28th pro fight, was fighting Jeferson Luis Goncalo at 147 doing these tricks. Adelaide Byrd, industry, they all knew about Canelo years back what this kid was made of, so when GGG vs Canelo 1 came around, she just concluded that GGG was a h0m0sexual and had nothing on Larry Holmes jab. look at this young buck parrying jabs with his thumb....

Fighting twice a year is the norm now and big stars rarely fight 3 times a year. The posters who dislike GGG would dislike him just as much or more if he fought ten times a year. Many disliked him his entire career.
How are both Canelo fights losses for GGG???? If nobody told you the first fight was a draw that you have somehow turned into a GGG loss.
He has had three fights since 4/1/2017 (that's two years ago from today). That's 3 fights in two years which is exactly what I said. He hasn't had a fight in over 6 months. People are going to see him being a bit of out of sight/out of mind. If/when he goes back to 3 fights a year it's going to be a lot easier to ride the type train.

I did miss-type on the draw. The point was that he has only one win in that period but I mis-typed it as two losses (whoops, I know the first was a draw that should have been a win) so thanks for the correction.

PS - remember, I like and respect GGG's professionalism and work ethic. Don't confuse me with a GGG hater.

Who called GGG the greatest middle weight of all time?

That's the same as calling him overrated. Quit listening to the trolls and don't be a troll. You're probably pretty young but gain the experience in discussing fact and avoid bias at all costs.
