Yet he turned down $100million from DAZN because they wouldn't tell him about AJ's financial arrangements!
you could almost say you couldn't make it up, but when it comes to Wilder, his team and his fanbase - they are a very deranged bunch of people. The fans have come out of nowhere as well.

Firstly that’s NOT going to happen because of Joshua personality. Secondly that would mean he is the one doing the chasing when he is the bigger draw. Now that’s cool if he wants to do that but it means at the negotiating table he would be shorthanded. This is why when Mayweather became who he was he never had to do the calling out, he already put the work in, he already did the calling out when he was a nobody, he didn’t need to do it to any other fighter when he became the man.

I agree in principle. Wilder's team must make an offer to AJ. However, no one should expect that offer to come before their next fights or at least, before Wilder's next fight.

Ohhh, so he's getting paid say, only 25% less or whatever AND we aren't getting the Wilder/AJ fight in the near future as a bonus... Thats ok then.

          Keep on marinating I suppose...

          Sigh

They didn't want to discuss any alternatives and simply turned down the 2 offers on the table and ended the meeting because Skipper wouldn't talk to them about AJ's financials.
What was untrue? They made two offers as you said, both for fights with AJ and other opponents. Wilder did not turn down any DAZN offers to fight AJ and AJ alone.

Yea, but AJ is getting sick and tired of Wilder calling his name while ducking the fight. AJ wouldn't be calling Wilder out as much as showing Wilder who the boss is. Imagine Wilder coming out and being distracted by AJ in the crowd, and getting KO'd by Breazeale. Be a comedy classic that would. The reason it can't happen is because Wilder is fighting in May, and AJ fighting Miller in June lol. Bad timing.

They know Wilder is just a Kp waiting to happen. Fury rocked him, imagine someone with a bit of power.

And I bet my house that Fury Ko's him if there is a rematch and then that golden goose is toasted.

Funny how these "guarantees" keep going up. One week it was $80M, by the end of the week it reached $100M. Now it's $120M this week, according to the article. Smh

Nobody's crazy here. Let this man make whatever he wants to make....just make sure the damn fight gets done sooner than later. If Wilder wants to make $2M a fight, who cares??? Why are yall so pressed about what another man makes???

As long as the fight happens, that's all that matters. Quit cha cryin' already.

Stephen forgets to mention there was also undisputed on DAZN table, besides way more money. Seems that doesn't mean much to them.

“We’re not going to publicize all of the financial arrangements, like other have seen fit to do,” Espinoza said. “Now, if we did, I think he’d probably receive less criticism. But his financial arrangements are his business, and his business alone. But to be absolutely clear, in general terms, we never saw this as, ‘Be loyal and take a lot less money.’ He has established himself at a certain level, and he’s due compensation of that level. And he’s getting that. He just decided to stay with his current partner in order to continue getting that...”

Loyalty doesn’t mean that you dance with who brought you, even if it means taking one-tenth of what’s available on the open market. That’s not the kind of loyalty we would ever expect. Loyalty means if you are generally in the same neighborhood with the financial opportunities, I think loyalty is the tie-breaker to stay with who got you there. And I think that’s the situation. So that’s why I think it’s important to emphasize that Deontay isn’t making a financial sacrifice.” - Mr. Espinoza

This exactly what I thought I would hear from Wilder and Espinoza, and it makes the most sense! I'm sure Finkel, DiBella , and Haymon know his worth, and I believe Espinoza had to make a deal to keep Wilder on Showtime! He already lost Joshua, and Fury went to ESPN, so he had to make a move because Wilder had leverage!
