PPV upside from a non-ppv fight. Damn you're a genius.

The higher the guarantee the more ppvs u need to hit to get ppv back end.

No way Mikey and Spence make anywhere near 20 mil each. U think Haymon is going to lose that much money on that event ?

Just do the math $75 a ppv at 400k buys(the number is likely lower) is 30,000,000. The cable operators take half so that leaves 15 million.

The average ticket price was $160 so at 47000 that’s 7.5 million but PBC doesn’t get all the ticket revenue either.

There is also foreign tv money but a lot of that is needed to pay the undercard fighters. We also haven’t factored in the three promoters handling this event and Haymon himself who needs to get paid.

So 7-9 million per fighter sounds about right for what they made.

Spence sold his own merchandise so that isn’t factored into his purse. He would get that regardless.

Obviously your nonreading @ss didn't see that I said the fight on Fox or SHO would be ppv idiot. Do they teach reading comprehension in the UK?

Haymon doesn't pay for the event the broadcaster does. You don't know what % they get so 50 could be high, but let's say they do get 50.

Errol and Mikey get get 50% of the remaining 15mil on top of their guarantee and ticket sales. Along with foreign broadcasts, movie theaters, bars, sponsors etc.

On top of that their fight gets viewed by more than the 50K subscribers that dazn has so there is publicity as well.

There is no reason for a fighter with a large name and fanbase to go to dazn. Dazn should be for up and comers and occasionally a BIG ppv worthy fight is shown there, but for a Wilder to sign exclusively with them would be career suicide and a way to cut down on their overall purses.

u have no idea how it works. Foz distributed the ppv. Not Haymon. The cable providers always take 50%. Always. Haymon has zero control over that. you really don’t know how it works.

Mikey and Spence made about 7-8 mil each.

Joshua and Klitschko split $42m, and that was the biggest pot to ever get to the UK.

If Joshua is happy with $20m-$25m a fight for the rest of his run, so be it.

Just assumed he was more ambitious than that

thats 4x more than Wilder ever earned lol. I thought wilder was more ambitious than that.

AJ will make more than that for Miller. That DAZN and Sky money be a beautiful thing.
