Sure, if boxing was a real sport not a business in disguise.

A lot of sports are big business. But it seems only boxing is beholden to promoters.

If we're gonna start killing people, start with the sanctioning bodies.

Because there is no one organisation holding all together like FIFA in football for example.

The sanctioning bodies essentially do the bidding of the promoters. Look at the WBO's cozy relationship with Bob Arum and Frank Warren fighters.

FIFA is just as corrupt, though.

Promoters are alright. All the different promoters mean more cards, more competition. Also the differnent companies diversify the places they hold events at. Top Rank goes places Golden Boy doesn't, vice versa, and whatever. I've seen plenty of Top Rank shows because they've held events around where I lived or was hanging at the time. I usually have to fly out for PBC/GoldenBoy events.

And the other sports are beholden to the franchise owners. What's the difference?

FIFA is WAYYYYYYYYYY more corrupt than the boxing orgs. Not even close. FIFA might be the most corrupt entity on the planet.
