      Spence is SLOW

Canelo has faster hands, is larger, stronger/bigger/ hits harder, more skilled, better defense

Canelo has almost every advantage, with a big edge in speed and skill. Plus the size. Spence gets destroyed

Seems a weird fight for anyone to want to be their most wanted to see fight right now.

I wouldn't outright count out Spence doe if it were to be made in 3 or so years from now as he defines his 147 legacy & attempts legacies beyond 147 over those years. I don't think we have a solid gauge of what Spence is capable of at 154 which is probably a healthier weight for him. So seeing Spence at 154 would be big in determining his true ceiling in boxing more. But I do suspect it'll sound like crazy sh^t to some, but then some mfers were calling Floyd crazy when he was calling out Oscar & Shane as a 130lber (myself being among them lol) as they were top guys at higher weights with more proven resumes but when they finally did agree to fight Floyd they were the ones coming up short.

Idk if Spence is Floyd-level skilled or can have success in higher weight divisions like Floyd did, but I think its more naive to think its an impossibility that he can't than its a possibility he could based on previous accomplishments of guys like Floyd, Manny, Duran & hell even Shane did that to Oscar along with others we could discuss.

If Spence progress slowly to 160 he can beat Canelo. He would certainly do better than Khan or Brook against Golovkin.

I think we'll see the difference when Jacobs and Canelo get in the ring. I'm not predicting a Jacobs win especially if it goes to the judges decision. However, we'll see that although Canelo is a good boxer, he does much better against stationary opponents. Jacobs' size, athleticism, and movement will give him problems.

Spence can use his footwork and jab to throw Canelo completely off balance as well.

I’d say Spence and Lara are about the same. I think Spence walks around heavier than Lara. If it’s 3 or so years more while Spence continues to wait and then significantly DRAIN to 147, those occurrences take a toll on the body and isn’t prepping for elites at the higher weight. The unfortunate nature of sparring and guys bigger doesn’t necessarily produce miracles when the times comes.

The stationary theory helps the betting odds on spending trill with Canelo.

Canelo was able to hit and sneak attack on Floyd better than everyone else since Guerrero. Canelo was able to land on the non stationary Lara. Canelo was able to land on the grand master mover in Cotto.

Canelo is full of surprises. Canelo vs Jacobs will be a great fight! Only on DAZN!

as of today, this is a mismatch... canelo is the better boxer P4P, if you add the size difference then it will be a total mismatch...

This fight is only interesting at 154.

Idk if I fully understand the Spence & Lara comparison being made, but yea I wouldn't disagree projecting this all out at some future date as Spence moves up Canelo would & should be seen as the favorite.

I just don't see how anyone should be counting out Spence entirely as being capable of beating Canelo upon being reasonable with projecting this scenario out along with the knowledge of what other guys we'd all probably agree were underdogs to do what they ended up doing in the future.

If its been done in the past its doable in the future. I don't see anything that makes Canelo more unbeatable than SRL or other bigger guys who've lost to smaller guys or anything that suggests Spence can't become greater then he's proven as he progresses in this game.
