And they have Crolla at #1, man. In the overall divisional rankings Ring, tbrb and ESPN have Teofimo at 8, 9 and 10 respectively. Both Commey and Crolla are higher ranked by everyone except the WBO.

Regardless, I think Teofimo is well enough ranked to make an acceptable opponent - certainly if he smashes through Tatli -and it'd be a much more interesting fight than Crolla (though Commey has a kinda interest)... I'm always gonna be sceptical of anything Bob says but his take on this one does make a certain sense... maybe Tatli then Pedraza before Lomachenko some time next year.

Beating the young guns is better. Fuck belts bro. We want competitive fights. Why waste Loma's last leg on these cans?
As of right now, Comney is a better boxer and has a better resume than Lopez.

Is Lopez? Last I checked fans haven't gotten to their seats for his match.

As a Central American I’m a big fan of Teofimo Lopez.

As a fighter and boxing fanatic, he needs to fight a better level of opposition.

Loma Has destroyed world champions. Rigo a all time great amateur, Linares a bigger more seasoned pro fighter, Walters arguably the best fighter at the weight at the time. Loma retired him.

Based on what I seen, Loma
Would absolutely destroy Lopez right now. He walks in with his hands low, relies heavily on 1 punch and doesn’t really set up with a jab etc.

Lopez is still all hype if you are an honest analyst, but I really hope he can be even a 1/4th of what Duran was and meant for central
            American boxing.

Your reaction of Walters is a joke. I clearly remember back in 2015 when he was ranked #1-#3 by almost everyone @ 126, and even borderline P4P for many people back then.

His only blemish prior to Loma, was a robbery draw against Sosa (where he won almost every round/maybe he lost one?).

He never had a close fight prior to that, schooled Marriaga (compare how Valdez looked against Marriaga to Walters).

He was also the only man to stop Donaire (even if Donaire was a smaller man).

But you call him "not good". That's hilarious. It's funny watching sentiment change so rapidly against a fighter. If Walters wasn't good, he wouldn't have dominated every single fight. We've seen good fighters struggle against C / B level competition plenty of times, but when did Walters?

This was back in November 2015 (prior Sosa robbery)

is Nicholas Walters in your top 10 p4p?

I could go on, but this nonsense that Walters isn't good should just stop already.

Hell, people were actually a lot nicer about Sosa before he got schooled by Loma. Some said he was a good fighter and such (and this was before he stopped Fortuna/beat Smith)

But of course, when a fighter you want to see fail keeps succeeding, you got to bring them down some way.

Loma's a 3 division champ and has beaten and fought better opposition. I don't understand how Loma would enter that bout as the underdog unless it happens in 10 years and he's 41 to Teofimo's 31. Fighters look good when they fight guys a level below them, but once they start fighting stiffer competition you get a glimpse at who they really are.

That's a question for Arum. Even Lopez knows what's up with why Davis-Loma ain't happening. Watch the video.

Lopez is a cub who is trying to test his limit. Loma, the old lion, seems to be running away with tail tucked between his legs. It's kinda sad.
