Greatness is something you see in some fighters, not in all. I don't need a belt org or a website to tell me that.

Loma has good challenges between 130 and 147. Time to man up. Or it'll be too late and these young guns will get even bigger and better. Do it now.

    Stop fighting bums, Loma.

If Walters and Russel ****** who were the top dogs at 2014-2015 that Loma could have fought at 126?

Teofimo Lopez is also ranked #5 by the WBC.

Just admit you were wrong. It's not that hard.

you have become a victim of your own bias and subjectivity. you dont like loma therefore everyone loma fights is not good. you are confusing the words greatness and hype.

The point wasn't who was better. Those were good at the time, especially Russell. I always respected that because Russell was good THEN. I was saying those were also so long ago. Feels like ages. We need something fresh.

no i wasn't wrong. i wasnt referring to belt organization rankings and you know that. no credible site has lopez in the top 5. they all had pedraza in the top 5. ring, espn, transational rankings are all far more credible. you ride with the belts who think edis talbi is #3 in the world but i wont be doing that.

What am I missing then? I was disappointed in both his last fights. Did he impress you? It's not that I don't like him, I do. I wanna see him tested to the limit.

Pedraza fight was just sad, or was that the limit?

Some of ya'll sound like you easily fall into the hype. I like Teofimo but let's be honest, he hasn't fought anyone of note yet and some of you are saying he's gonna wipe out Loma? Loma's a 3 division champ and has beaten and fought better opposition. I don't understand how Loma would enter that bout as the underdog unless it happens in 10 years and he's 41 to Teofimo's 31. Fighters look good when they fight guys a level below them, but once they start fighting stiffer competition you get a glimpse at who they really are.

I think people expected him to walk through Pedraza but to Pedraza's credit, he's an experienced bigger fighter. Loma seems to have capped off at 135 and I can't really see him competing at 140 unless he grows into it.

Was that the Pedraza fight for Loma? He didn't look a level above at all.

If we are being honest, Pedraza looked more like the champ in there. With Davis, Pedraza looked a few levels below, clearly.
