Shyte should have fought Ortiz. Then he wouldn't be having this problem.

Whyte gave Ortiz an offer to headline a ppv with him. Ortiz turned it down to fight on the Wilder/Fury card.

I am not a fan of Whyte at all but I don't see how anyone can blame him for thinking how he is.

He beat a top 10 Chisora, former champions Parker and Browne etc. Ortiz got his shot from beating a guy who lost 3 of his previous 5 bouts. So you can understand why he would be mad about it.

The WBC will just name him the next mandatory and all this will be forgotten. At the max they can ask him to fight another final eliminator. It won't be Ortiz as he hasn't fought any of the top ranked fighters since his loss to Wilder. But then again this is the WBC so who knows.

People try to downplay Whyte as if he's not a dangerous fighter. He IS in fact dangerous, and Wilder wants nothing to do with him.

The WBC made this phuking mess after the Wilder/Ortiz fight got cancelled because of the failed drug test over the blood pressure medication Ortiz was taking. They created a situation where 1 guy gets and wins a title eliminator and another guy becomes #1 in WBC's own rankings. WTF???

Whyte had fought his way to get a spot. Unfortunately for him Breazeale was waiting ahead of him. They are gong to have to replan their approached to get a shot because it looks like he will be left out for another year at minimum.

He might get Fury before AJ or Wilder

Whyte got phuked bad because he went from almost landing the Joshua fight but he asked for more money thinking he had leverage as the number 1 WBO and WBC. Joshua goes and fights Miller in NYC, he thinks he's getting a fight with Breazeale and Interim WBC belt because Wilder is fighting Fury. Fury pulls out Wilder rematch and the WBC orders Breazeale instead of Whye. Now every top heavyweight has a fight and he is left out in the cold

Joshua has so many belts who knows when he will be ordered to fight him. If the WBC don't force Wilder to back to back mandatories who knows how long he has to wait for that fight ordered. And any unification puts all mandatories on pause longer. Fury don't even have a belt but that might be his best bet.

Ranking means nothing Breazeale was in a final eliminator in nov 2017 when he was suppose to take on stiverne as co main to Ortiz/wilder the first go around once Ortiz came up dirty and wilder took on his actually mando in stiverne that fight Breazeale was already contractually bind to a final eliminator and won that night everyone knows that but you u.k fan boys

Ironically though; the WBC mandated that Breazeale face Whyte in a final eliminator when they thought that Wilder was going to face Fury. When that fell through Breazeale pulled out of fighting Whyte to face Wilder (can't knock him for that) and therefore Whyte, through no fault of his own, lost the chance to become WBC mandatory that the WBC had mandated.

Sounds a pretty similar situation as to how Breazeale became mandatory in the first place to me...

I agree boxing would be better without the orgs.

But boxing will never get rid of the orgs until there is one dominant league able to crown their own champion.

In my opinion, PBC has the best chance of being that, but even they may be a long shot and even if they pull it off in the US, the orgs would likely still continue on overseas.

I don't hide my feelings about the orgs. Mo is a cool guy though. Has definitely improved the ol BC since his pops died.
