And by the way, these nationalist troll type fans see it that way and seem to be insulted by Americans who dont get on board with Hearn and buy dazn. They seem to actually expect Americans to feel the same way about Hearn that they do even though Hearn is a foreigner in this country. It’s just the strangest mentality ever....as if they still saw Americans as an extension of England politically and possibly geographically. The USA doesn’t owe Hearn anything, nor is he entitled to be bowed down to by the fans or frankly the fighters. He should have behaved himself in a much more respectful way when he came to these shores rather than coming figuratively with khaki trousers and a pith helmet making demands.

      Bellew asked a fundamental question..

"If Fury or Wilder held three belts in the division, do you really think they would give an opponent 50-50"?

I don't think the answer is a Yes

Both wilder and fury are fighting on networks that can reach the majority of Americans in ESPN and FOX/Showtime and their app and ppv wings. And what no one seems to want to admit that every time hearn says he makes an offer for wilder or for tank Davis it comes with mandatory options for the fight to be on dazn or with a contract to stay with dazn for a certain number of fights....something most of the PBC guys seem unwilling to do. These mandatory “dazn only” offers don’t seem to be in place for Top Rank-Matchroom fighters. Hearn even demands the charlos sign with dazn and Hearn doesn’t even represent anyone the charlos would fight on that network.
I am old enough to remember that dlh first began to promote it was with the understanding that he would not be like Don King, and eventually golden Boy, at that time, became the top promotion in the USA. That showed me that fighters then were more willing to work with dlh than even let’s say king and arum. There are fighters who simply don’t want to deal with Hearn because they don’t like his practices. The truth is Hearn is trying desperately to establish himself as the power broker in American boxing and he is trying to use dazn to do it. He has not signed not one star since forming Matchroom USA, not one. There is a reason why dazn has to turn to skipper to talk to wilder, there is a reason why dlh said “Eddie Hearn is his own promoter we have our own deal with dazn” in reference to the “you must sign with dazn to fight a dazn fighter” comments that were pointed at PBC fighters. Why would anyone at PBC want to have any dealings with Hearn and dazn if this is his approach? Arum and Haymon don’t demand fighters sign with ESPN, FOX, and Showtime to fight their fighters?
The real issue is the PBC fighters 1, don’t want to fight on an app that no one has and get contractually tied to a platform that may not be around in the long run for American boxing as evidenced to the price hike that happened maybe 48 hours after Deontay turned them down. And 2, don’t want to do help Hearn in his attempts to hurt PBC as a brand which is what he really wants. He wants those PBC fighters....when he first came over he made offers to Broner, Garcia, Spence, Wilder, the Charlos, Davis, and of course Vargas, Daniels, and Andrade. He specifically wanted PBC fighters because he saw what was going on in the USA when PBC launched in the time buy days of 2m-6m viewers on FOX, CBS, and NBC.
This of course is ignored by the legions of online troll fans of Hearn because out of nationalism they want to see Hearn replace haymon out of tribalism, they want to see dazn succeed because it’s a british company. They won’t admit this of course but they know it’s the truth.
Arum did want Wilder to sign with Top Rank to fight Fury, and he wanted Wilder to fight once or twice (on ESPN+) before Fury too! No disrespect intended, but that's facts!

I'd go winner take all....BUT Wilder is trash. Utter trash. I am American and embarrassed this a s s h o l e has any fans at all. His fans tend to say some really dumb ass s h i t. They all sound like millennials and we know how they are utterly worthless.

I can see your logic on that. Bellew is a big part of Matchroom so he is not going to be without bias and that is understood, but your logic is pretty sound there sir. I don’t think there is a #1 but I do think Fury has proven skill wise to be the best.

This is true as an attempt, but what arum didn’t do was demand that wilder sign with him otherwise it kills the fight. Bob even said that the fight would happen in 2020 just yesterday. I think any promoter is going to want to control the money, that’s really the reason the big PBC fighters want to stay put, they don’t want to pay promoters and take home more of their cut. It’s clear that the proposed wilder vs fury fight will be a massive money fight, if push comes to shove and it clearly has, both arum and haymon have shown they will and can work with each other on from different networks as they didnwirh May-pac. “If it makes money it makes sense” as the old timers say

Bellew is nothing more than a surrogate promoter trying to boost Joshua’s reputation after AJ turned down a record payday to face Wilder. Joshua struggled against Klitschko who was coming back from a long layoff that Fury easily beat while he was active.

I agree! He's not very powerful but he is very skillful! He beat Wlad in 2015, and he had beautiful performance vs. Wilder, even though he was definitely sleeping on last KD! I guess Bellew would say, "but he doesn't have a belt."
