Bottom line - who's PBF fighting in November, because the list is getting pretty thin after you toss out the $8M offers, and will it be a step up compared to the string of losers he's faced the last 3 years?

Ability is one thing but achievement is another and sometimes the two don't meet - and we are the losers.

What's wrong with demanding PBF to fight the best available instead of exhibitions with Gatti caliber fighters? The last 3 years have been a huge let down in his career. He should already be a bigger PPV draw than DLH, rather than begging DLH to drop a few crumbs his way. How demeaning is that.

The good news is he is young enough to win a few megafights, and if he ever does step up, he'll earn respect and build his own PPV audience.

I don't know if the PPV thing is Floyd's fault. His natural personality isn't the squeaky clean "golden boy" that is DLH. PPV popularity is based on non-core watchers so fans like us shouldn't care about the # of PPV buys. If I did then I would dismiss Margarito because of his last PPV numbers (but exposure problems aren't AM's fault). I agree with you that the last couple of years haven't been great but they haven't been that bad either. Judah is a good (not great) fighter even if he was coming off of a loss. If he fought like he did against Floyd he would have beaten Baldomir and there would have been far less complaining about the matchup. Also, Gatti isn't a bad figher he just was a bad style matchup against Floyd. Plenty of people were actually picking Gatti to win.
All that said, and I agree with you. We the fans are the losers when fights don't come off. And the options are limited. I am simply trying to be objective. I am not a Floyd hater or lover... somewhere in between
