That's bull****. Mayweather is a perfect fighter in every sense of the word.

He packs a great punch, he's probably the second fastest elite fighter in the world, he's damn near impossible to hit (look how few times Judah hit him, and Judah is the fastest in the sport), he's charismatic. He'll finish as one of the greatest ever easily.

It's not as if Tony is with Showtime. I see no solid blocks to this fight happening. I doubt Arum is demanding with no compromise that the fight has to take place earlier than Nov.

No but in boxing when a network puts on a PPV card they get a percentage of the buys whereas normally that would go to a promoter. So Arum will either have to take less money or HBO will... both highly unlikely. Plus Arum has never offered 8m for a November date so I do think there is a major block. He claims he doesn't want to displace another fight because the next available date is a mexican holiday.
