"****in nuthugger"? ... lol, who am i nuthugging? the sport?

I think your problem is you don't have a very good way of gaging time...

let's look at it deeper, with a few other top guys pound for pound in boxing today:

    Manny Pacquiao 43-3-2 (33kos)
last fight? Oscar Larios with a record of 56-4-1.. wins a hard fought 12 round decision
before that? Erik Morales with a record of 48-3-0.. wins a 10th round TKO
before that? Hector Velazquez with a record of 42-10-2.. wins a 6th round TKO
all 3 fights within the last 11 months, less than a year

    Winky Wright 50-3-1 (25kos)
last fight? Jermain Taylor with a record of 25-0-0.. fights to a hard fought draw with the previously undefeated champion, puts the first blemish on his record
before that? Sam Soliman with a record of 31-7-0.. fights to another unanimous decision
before that? Felix Trinidad with a record of 42-1-0.. fight a dominating fight, easily winning all 12 rounds to finalize Trinidad's career
all 3 of these within the last 14 months, a little more than a year

    Marco Antonio Barrera 62-4-0 (42kos)
last fight? Rocky Juarez with a record of 25-1-0.. fights to a tough split decision win and agrees to a rematch coming in Sept
before that? Robbie Peden with a record of 25-2-0.. fights to a unanimous decision
before that? Mzonke Fana with a record of 22-2-0.. wins by KO in the 2nd round, and lets not forget the fight before this one where Barrera went up 2-1 on Erik Morales
all 3 were within the last 15 months, a little more than a month

now, on to Floyd Mayweather 36-0-0 (24kos)
last fight? Zab Judah with a record of 34-3-0.. Judah, coming off a loss to 41-9-6 Baldomir, fights with Judah to a 12 round decision
before that? Sharmba Mitchell with a record of 56-4-0.. wins by TKO in the 6th
before that? Arturo Gatti with a record of 39-6-0.. outboxes the slugger to win a TKO in the 6th
now, these 3 fight were within the last 14 months, one less than Barrera, same timeframe as Winky, and 3 months more than Pacquiao..

now look at the competition of all their opponents and tell me where everyone belongs in the pound for pound rankings...

      again..

The fact that Mayweather is not fighting Margarito has nothing to do with the fact that Margarito is a better fighter than Mayweather's fought in the last couple of years, it's about Margarito being the best fighter in front of Mayweather RIGHT NOW.. and Mayweather prefering to sit this one out instead, even with the good looking payday there.

I would agree with you Restless that IF and I repeat IF PBF sits out and waits for DLH instead of making the fight with Margarito its totally ridiculous. Unless he can somehow make a better match up (almost impossible at this point).

Agreed, i've never said that Mayweather doesn't have the talent, or isn't worthy, i've merely said he need to make a decision sooner if people are going to proclaim him on top of the boxing rankings..

I think in the near-future for Mayweather, all roads lead to Margarito

You've got to be kidding me..

If you're not gonna go out there and fight the best competition out there at the moment representing the supposed #1 P4P title, then you'll have to face that maybe your not the #1 P4P..

Point being.. Mayweather needs to make a decision, and make one now.
thankyou you sir.....people confuse **** around here.

As a P4P fighter who's establishing himself as a PPV fighter I think it's his right to weigh his options. He's already said that he's gonna fight Margarito, if he has a bigger fight in the works then that's great. I think before we start saying that he's ducking anyone we should wait to hear what he has to say abotu his next fight.
