    Ike Quartey and easily.

I've seen so many fights where he was behind on the cards, and he started wearing on people with the right looping hand.

It's almost as dangerous as his jab, believe it.

Watson despised Eubank for many reasons - Eubank was a millionaire and Watson wasn't close (despite Watson beating Benn with more impressive skill), Eubank was a household name and Watson wasn't close (despite Watson beating Benn with more impressive skill), Eubank called boxing a "mugs game" (boxing was Watson's life), Eubank acted as if he grew up as a rich white kid (when really he, like Watson, grew up as a poor black kid), etc.

Watson wanted to win that fight first and foremost to get rid of Eubank, he said his #1 priority was to beat Eubank more so than become world champion (even though his dream since he was 14 years old was to be world champion - that just shows you how much malice he had towards Eubank).

It was a scarey fight, Eubank couldn't stand Watson either because he thought Watson was so plain and false and lacked a point of view. Watson's constant criticisms of Eubank really started to get to Chris. There were some real, strong malice-filled punches thrown in that fight, from both guys from early on.

After six rounds he gave up (it was psychological thing.. Watson set a maniacal pace with all his malice towards Eubank there for all to see - he bitterly despised him, at the end of the first-round Ronnie Davies told Eubank "don't worry, he won't keep that pace up, give him five or six rounds and he's gone", but Watson WAS keeping that malice-filled pace up and still looking fresh and so Eubank went back to his corner after the sixth round feeling that Watson was too strong for him), but when his knee hit the canvas in the 11th it rejuvenated him and suddenly woke him up and, and, ****.

Also, Eubank was desperate to keep his unbeaten record and have a belt to make money off, because he was so messed up in the head that he needed to be high up in society to cope
I think Eubank might of killed himself if Watson won that fight, you could see in the second half of the fight Eubank just feeling sorry for himself and didn't seem to know where he was at times. Your absolutely spot on,the press had won to the point where it was not even an option for Eubank to lose that fight.

yah, and he threw it like he was throwing a baseball. He threw it best when he was counterpunching.

Ike fought in survival mode about 90% of the time he was in the ring it seemed. His defense in his prime was about as bad as you can get...and it's still notorious. He never moves his head, and he can be countered when he's overreaching with the jab. Pick any single fight you can think of him being in....with the exception of his latest v.s. Bojoroquez, and you'll see major flaws.

His offense is his defense, and if you look at it realistically....he might have the best arsenal of punches in all of boxing P4P.

His jab and steady hard punching enable him to execute his gameplan.....Which lacks any defense whatsoever.
