Who had the best "survival-mode" right hand?

I won't make a poll because I know I'll probably end up leaving alot of fighters out...but who do you think had the ability to land most lethal right hand in a moment of danger?

Hearns had a pretty dangerous one from what I seen and heard. In the Hagler fight he actually shocked Hagler with his power in the first round when he landed that brutal right hand when Hagler was swarming him. I once read an interview with Steward talking about Hearns' right hand and how he had the ability to land it when he was in danger. One time he was sparring with McClellan and even though he did land it flush when Gerald started to crowd him...Gerald just walked throughit.

Miranda have a powerful right hand if you seen him with Eastman fight.
But he need to work on tech. if he is going to win over Arthur.

I new to boxing so I think is trying to parry the right hand and then couter with a left hook.

Best example I can think of is Eubank's tragic right uppercut onto Watson,he took the mother of all beatings and went down,he got back up and somehow delivered a perfect uppercut straight through Watson's guard, perfect arc and everything, and it lifted Watson off his feet! You hear stories of how mothers have lifted cars when their children have been underneath, how Eubank dug inside himself and found a shot like that after taking such a beating for 11 rounds is beyond me.

Mike Tyson, the guys right hand is legendary, and as a short Heavyweight he often just threw the right bomb after slippin (which he was sick at as a kid); he'd just throw the right out there to get some respect. And we all know what happened when that punch landed....

Is that the shot that shattered his hand, I always wondered what would have happened in that fight if he hadn't broken his hand.

I also always wondered what would have happened in the Mayweather/Chavez fight, Chavez was swarming him & landing more shot's on Floyd then anyone I've ever seen, Mayweather went in to defensive mode, ****ed back and kept landing hard right uppercuts. IMHO if that fight would have continued Chavez might have gotten seriously hurt.

I was going to say Roberto Duran vs Ian Barkely.

nice fight i seen how Duran koed Barkley but its not a right hand i think it was a left hook.

but i would be very much one of the best KO in histroy. Duran was half unconsicse and was about to fall and bamb left hook.

sory its not the right hand but it what they call the honorbily metion

Eubank found the strength because the media had won basically, and if Watson won that fight then everybody would of just thought of Eubank as this nasty, horrible person and he really couldn't cope with that because it just wasn't true. After six rounds he gave up (it was psychological thing.. Watson set a maniacal pace with all his malice towards Eubank there for all to see - he bitterly despised him, at the end of the first-round Ronnie Davies told Eubank "don't worry, he won't keep that pace up, give him five or six rounds and he's gone", but Watson WAS keeping that malice-filled pace up and still looking fresh and so Eubank went back to his corner after the sixth round feeling that Watson was too strong for him), but when his knee hit the canvas in the 11th it rejuvenated him and suddenly woke him up and, and, ****.

Also, Eubank was desperate to keep his unbeaten record and have a belt to make money off, because he was so messed up in the head that he needed to be high up in society to cope
