Thats kind of the point tho. In ur theoretical situation, if crawford doesn’t agree to the split then crawford is stripped and spence is awarded the belt...

1. Spence is named mandatory challenger to Terence Crawford.

2. Bob Arum won't give him a fair deal. So the fight goes to purse bids.

3. The WBO rules say that in the event of a purse bid the challenger gets 25%, the champion gets 75%. There's no way Spence fights Crawford for that amount of money.

So the big fights STILL won't happen anyway.
