Povetkin certainly is not the one who stoped the Usyk fight. I think it was Usyk's side for two reasons...1. it would be hella dangerous for first fight in HW... and 2. a MASSIVE fight between a Russian and a Ukranian... in Chicago? LOL HELL NO.

Usyk vs Povetkin would be as big as Wlad vs Povetkin or AJ vs Povetkin... as long as it is held in Europe. In Chicago? Just does not make business sense.

Povetkin vs Ortiz would be a really great fight... two boxers with SOLID Boxing IQ... you sure as hell no there would be no windmills in that fight. lol.

Povetkin vs Whyte would also be a good fight to see where Whyte is in the order and if he deserve another shot vs AJ.

Is Ortiz a free agent or signed with anyone in particular?

Povetkin is still a dangerous fighter. Despite his age, he's an elite counterpuncher with speed and power. Styles make fights though; Usyk is all wrong for him, while I would favor him against Ortiz and Whyte (though he might be the betting underdog against all 3).

Its the only conclusion one could come to.... PEDs turned him into a temporary superhero that eventually made him fall flat! Lets hope his 3 very good choices is not some greedy trick attempt by his team to simply get PAID - for retirement purposes.

If thats the case, he most likely loses in his vain attempt at a new house, car and (possibly) chick. He probably gets paid right for the 1st fight because he'd have shown up in true PED form. The 2 other fights? He gets found out and disqualified or loses by TKO!.... He'd better be serious and au naturel for his last minute legacy fights to get that money

Oh man, why do they have to think hard when it comes to fighting Ortiz?
He is the man to beat. He's what made Deontay is today.
                    Deontay is nothing without Ortiz.
So why aren't these clowns rushing to fight Ortiz?
He's not even that scary, as attested by Hammer.

Whyte's attention is focused on the Wilder/Breazeale winner or Miller/AJ.
He'll likely to take an interim fight against a nobody.
This is the best time to make the Povetkin vs Ortiz fight.
