Baseball is big in Japan, correct. But Japan actually has the MLB package where they get the games. What DAZN just paid stateside for the MLB nightly show is different. Japan also has the NFL rights as does Canada.

Oh, I'm not the one ignorant here, that's you if you truly believe DAZN won't try to get rights to the NFL when the bidding opens up. Do you actually believe that?

I will agree $19.99 for Canelo v Jacobs, Usyk and Povetkin and Joshua v Miller is well worth it which is what I will be paying

I mean if you are going to watch all that and pay $40 bucks, then might as well pay a yearly fee $100 bucks. Definitely worth it.

              Lol

Phase 1: Infancy - Free Trial preps, study retainment.

Phase 2: free trials phased out. Canelo vs Jacobs, Joshua vs Miller buyer preparation. Previous subscribers are grandfathered in and don’t pay the new adjustment.

$20 is brilliant. As Guerrero and Thurman lifted off PBC in its early months and was expected to grow, Canelo vs Jacobs is the first initiative from DAZN’s retainment risk strategy.

This is where PPV is replaced by $20 for a Premiere marquee where in previous years peaked at $80-100 for a main event.

By now, many Canelo fans, the Mexican American buyers whom have mobile devices or know how to stream via computer, TV or Smart TV, will inquire how to watch Canelo’s next fight vs Jacobs in unification.

Previous Canelo buyers, Mexican American fans will be thrilled to know that it’s only $20!! This means in theory, all previous and consistent Canelo buyers who paid for Smith, Cotto, Chavez Jr., GGG x 2, or an average of 900K.

Canelo is no longer an average 900k at $80.

At $20, expect May subscriptions to reach 2-4 million alone. DAZN has the potential to net 80 milllion in May alone just for 2019. Canelo has years to go and Joshua hasn’t touched yet.

Whether or not these same fans will continue to the month is the best part, DAZN continues making money off this design with low risk. DAZN continues to grow and other niche categories of DAZN like MMA etc. keeps its retainment.

Then you’ve got fans that will just pay $100 up front.

DAZN just did some Powerhouse moves!!

              Enjoy the show!
Thank you, you big ol show off!

I guess you could call it a “PPV,” but it’s simply a DAZN night, or new subs today paid $20 bucks for it and will enjoy a month of whatever. Should they like it, they might be it again some other time in the year. That’s the dynamics of month to month or the cheaper year subscription. The DAZN hate isn’t realistic.

Bellator is an established brand. Of course not as big as the UFC, but its known. When Brazil gets DAZN next month they’ll be treated to the Bellator variant offered to them.

Glad to see you make a thread that isn't hating on GGG, Spence or Loma for a change. You must have gone crazy yesterday when you could not start your usual 20 daily threads. I love DAZN. They are worth much more than the price to me and I am sure they will be huge in the future.
