That makes no sense at all. So why do they have NFL rights in Canada then? If you want the America operation to go well, obviously you go after NFL rights. Nothing boxing does for them will compare to the amount of subscribers they obtain by getting NFL rights.

Don't worry about the NFL debates with these guys. They don't make any sense.

First off, since when do NBA and NFL fans don't like boxing? There's always a percentage of boxing interest from all those sports.

These guys are nerds saying ''well Showtime has movies and shows and Netflix has this...'' all ******ed comparisons that have nothing to do with the casual interest and rise of DAZN buyers. lol

Every new urban youth teen with a cell phone that likes all these sports will most likely learn about DAZN and fork up $20 here and there. That's basically what 2 meals at Mcdonalds costs.

The world operates on commuting, transportation, going to school, on a bus, train, etc... these new generations will be using DAZN on their commutes and the content will become HUGE. These DAZN haters aren't being realistic, its all just salty residue to defend PBC shilling and Wilder etc... gets old

Again you're only thinking about America not worldwide. You don't pay 10x for an event that only interests 5 mil Americans when you can pay 1/10 for an event that interests 5 mil in all the countries your service is available in. It's not all about America, get your head out of your ass.

A sub is a sub doesn't matter which country it comes from.

So you're telling me right now you don't think DAZN tries to go after NFL and NBA rights in America. Don't worry about worldwide, we're talking just America here. So they will just stick with these B and C level sports like cricket/racing/boxing/MMA? THAT's what they are pouring millions and millions and soon to be billions and billions of dollars on? You cannot be serious here. What they get from just getting rights from one NFL game per week will do more for their subscription base than they will with all other sports combined. DAZN is trying to get their hands on as many sports rights as possible.

By your flawed logic, why did they pay so much for the MLB package then? That is a sports league strictly in America. Why spend so much on that.....Which they aren't even getting rights to any games, just a MLB nightly show?

DAZN will be going after the NFL and NBA rights, don't be naive. And ultimately that will determine their success stateside, nothing else.

did you just call BOXING a B or C level sport on this forum? since when do fans of this forum start comparing boxing to the NFL and NBA for a new VOD technology?

            Seriously bruh, log off.

It's not just about America. FFS. You're too ignorant to see common sense.

Isn't MLB also big in Japan who have a population of 128 mil?

It's almost end of March now and I can't think of anything on DAZN in January, February and April that would be worth paying the asking price for

Canelo-Jacobs would have been PPV. That's almost a years subscription for that fight.

Correct, boxing is a niche sport here. What level of sport do you think it is?

Yeah but it's on May what's on DAZN from January to April other than WBSS at end of April ? At least ESPN + has way more content and at 1/4th of the price

You probably better off picking and choosing months at 19.99
