Sure! Beating a LW makes you the best WW.
Seems this time it's Paulie's turn to propel some PBC talking points. Who can blame him, a man has to eat.

I'll like to see it 2020 also, but something tells me that by the time these two meet (building up the fight), Spence will already be at 154 and then the fight probably will be at a catch weight.

Crawford is still 50/50 with spence. Thurman, pac, porter or Danny gacria can forget about it.

The truth hurts...Spence will out work Crawford by a fair margin. Crawford will need to be much more active to beat Spence. He has to throw way more punches or he'll get drowned. Spence is bigger, has a better (more varied) jab, and never neglects the body. Crawford will have to be up for that one.

Paule says Spence will beat Crawford but Tim Shaw FMW and Al Haymon won't touch the fight b/c They don't think he is ready and will try to age Crawford out of his prime b/c a big part of his game is mobility. Spence just beat up a small, short arm 135 fighter and now he is p4p #1. Didn't I see GGG/Brook, Canelo/Khan, Crawford/Gamboa and Loma/Rigo do this already? Either boxing fans have short memories or they are rocks like Bob ARum said.

Hope not. I mean it would still be good where ever, but best at WW. Spence needs to beat Porter and then gun for Pac/Thurman winner or Crawford. Forget the mandatory situation, unification trumps all.

The same Thurman that was almost stopped in his last fight? The one Collazo almost ended with a body shot losing to the best body puncher in the sport? I doubt it.

I think Crawford can reduce Spence's output with his advantage in foot and hand speed. I'm 51/49 Crawford but let's see how he looks against Khan.

Horn beat Pacquiao fair and square, give him his props. The fight was scored again and he won. Pacquiao didn't know how to deal with Horn simple as.

I've been going back to check film on Crawford's ability to dictate. I've noticed that guys usually fight their fight with him regardless of the weight. His approach seems to be to meet guys where they are. I don't like that approach with Spence at all. But it's definitely a fabulous fight.
