Acceptable but not a great opponent.

Is Adamek still fighting, the looked spent after the Vitali fight then I seen the loss to Szpilka and realised it was time to retire for him losing to guys of that level, I know he’s had the odd fight since then but isn’t he now retired ?

At least you proved Usyk actually is smiling though, but I'll likely stream it after the PBC card (live takes precedent over something I can stream later, anyone who doesn't agree with that is just weird)
          evidence of hate.

Fighting a B level heavy his first ever heavyweight.....

          its actually quite courageous

Whyte and Povetkin won’t fight him, like seriously who even fights at that level for their first fight at the weight and he’s going after them immediately. Who else could he have fought who’d be willing I’m understanding Chisora didn’t want it either and Pulev is waiting on the AJ mandatory fight this year when the IBF orders it after he faces Miller.

Takam is arguably a top ten guy still he’s certainly a tougher fight than Breazeale maybe even Miller or at least on par.

Fighting Povetkin or Ortiz was always going to be a ballsy move. Takam makes more sense. So no issue with the matchup.

Interesting they're taking on Wilder v Breazeale on Sho though.

Takams not top 10 at this stage nobody that gets absolutely flattened by a punch drunk Derek Chisora deserves to be ranked in the top 10. I'm not sure he's even top 20 at this stage.
He fought some awful German fighter after that and looked laboured.

He's fought twice since AJ vs two journeyman types and looked terrible even getting brutally K.O'd by one who can't punch.
That fight either took something or Father Times caught up with him not that he was ever great anyway. Takam at his best was nothing more than a high end gatekeeper really that lost soundly everytime he stepped up.

He's gone from being fairly underrated to horribly overrated just because he almost went the distance with AJ. He didn't even come to win he fought in survival mode really.

He's no bigger or better than the top CWs Usyks already beaten.

Usyk fan here. This is not a good fight for a first fight. One of the most skilled, smaller heavyweights. I was very impressed the last time I saw him. Takam is pretty skilled. Not a good choice.

Usyk should start with big, no-hopers like Price.

This is a good first fight for usyk. It’ll be a sign if Usyk has the size for hw.

He looked ponderous vs some German bum that was so outclassed by Tom Schwarz he got himself D.Qd

He got 1 punch K.O'd vs Chisora (I've never seen Chisora do that at any level).

That's his current level I've seen nothing to suggest otherwise.

Fury, Parker, Aj, Povetkin, Ortiz, Wilder, Whyte, Chisora, Miller, Rivas, Breazele, Kownacki, Kabayel, Andy Ruiz I don't feel he beats any (already got destroyed by a fair few)
Probably a fair few highly touted prospects also I certainly don't see him beating Hrgovic, Joyce

I love Usyk but Takams a gatekeeper on his way out. I have to call it how I see it.
