I know for a fact that Wilder wants the fight. However, it's people like Finkel, Espinoza, Haymon and Deas who believe there shouldn't be a ceiling on a fight of this magnitude.

They feel like it doesn't belong on an online sports streaming app but on linear television where you could reach many more homes. Nor should there be a double rematch flat-fee clause either.

There's no doubt the fight will do much better on Pay Per View than a monthly flat-fee streaming app.

DAZN had an angle. They knew that the only way they could have afford to pay Wilder upwards to $120mil; If they would have offered him several options on his future fights; In hopes of increasing their overall subscriptions. They would have needed at least 12mil new subscribers in order to at least break even at $10 per month. Also, that doesn't includes Anthony Joshua's deal on DAZN either.
