cotto, hatton, mosley, vargas, wright, would all be better opponents and will make mayweather more money then he would get for fighting bumarito. you cant just say "well the public wants me to fight this guy who cares if theyre are better fighters and bigger paydays out there for me to fight, ill do exactly what the public wants" also as someone mentioned earlier people will downplay the fight after mayweather embarrasses him like he did gatti, saying "well we knew margarito was limited in skill and mayweather had much more of it so im not surprised" just like the gatti fight "well we knew floyd would beat him and gatti shouldnt be in the same ring with him"

he will get more credit for fighting all the guys i mentioned more than margarito.

Your right about the guys you mentioned being better fighters and better paydays, but those fights are not able to be made right now, so I'm saying go ahead and fight him right now and get it over with. At this point and time Marg is the only fight for the best amount of money, and buy tsking the fight it will get everyone off his back about not stepping up.

I cant speak for everyone else but if he takes this fight I will give hom props win or lose for stepping up. Like I said earlier, I am a boxing fan and want to see him fight the Cotto's,Hattons,Wright's DLH,Mosleys beacuse the fans deserve to see the best fighters in the world fight each other especially if we are gonna be shelling out $50 every PPV.

Have you ever considered the scheduling issues that are very real for this fight. PBF is under contract to fight for HBO on Nov. 4th. Why hasn't Arum or AM offered to move the fight back a month so Floyd can keep his date AND have his trainer and advisor with him. If AM really thinks he can beat Floyd what is the harm in waiting a few weeks to collect on the biggest payday of his career while gaining unprecedented fame with the casual fan (something that could really jump start his career).

I agree...I'm just going to wait to see who Floyd fights and if the opponent is a scrub, over the hill, or a bum then I am going to be pissed off, and for good reason.
